Monica Crowley Class of 1986

Monica Crowley attended Watchung Hills Regional High School from 1982 – 1986. Her education continued at where she graduated in 1990 with a degree in political science. Monica followed her bachelor’s degree with a master’s and Ph.D. in international relations from earned in 1996. It was clear to Monica early on that her career would be in the arena of national and international politics.

She established herself very early and became Foreign Policy Assistant to former President Richard M. Nixon soon after graduating from Colgate in 1990. She continued in that role until his death in 1994. Her work and time with President Nixon led her to author two books on the former President, Nixon Off the Record (1996) and Nixon in Winter (1998).

Monica’s talent and her passion for politics, journalism and the media have offered her many opportunities and taken her down many paths since her graduation from WHRHS. She has been published in , , The , The and . She is a political analyst for the Channel and has frequently substituted for Sean on Fox’s show, “Hannity and Colmes.”

Monica is currently host of her own syndicated talk show which is aired nationally by CBS/Westwood One. She is also a vocal participant on the long running Sunday morning political talk show, “The McLaughlin Group.”

We applaud the spirit and achievements of WHRHS alum, Monica Crowley and we welcome her into the freshman class of the Hall of Fame.
