    CHARLIE FRYE QUARTERBACKS COLLEGE: AKRON NFL: SEVENTH SEASON DOLPHINS: FIRST SEASON Charlie Frye enters his first season as quarterbacks coach for the Dolphins after he was hired in 2021. Frye joins the Dolphins with two years of FBS play-calling experience and six years of NFL playing experience at the quarterback position. Frye spent the past two seasons (2019-20) as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Central Michigan. In 2020, Frye helped the Chippewas finish third in the Mid-American Conference in rushing yards per game (218.2 avg.). Running back Lew Nichols III led the team with 508 rushing yards and earned MAC Freshman of the Year honors. Frye helped Central Michigan win the MAC West Division in 2019 with an offense that led the conference with 6,070 total yards. The team improved by seven wins from the previous season, the biggest jump by any FBS program in 2019. Central Michigan’s 424 points ranked fourth in team history. Wide receivers Kalil Pimpleton and JaCorey Sullivan joined running back Kobe Lewis with first-team All-MAC honors. After the regular season, five players will be nominated for Diet Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year honors. Fans can vote for the winner on NFL.com throughout the month of January. The winner will be announced at a press conference at Super Bowl XL in Detroit. The twelve-minute test, which measures “cognitive ability,” has been shown to have a disparate impact on minorities in various employment situations. This Note contends that the NFL’s use of the Wonderlic also has a disparate impact because of its effect on a player’s draft status and ultimately his salary. The test cannot be justified by business necessity because there is no correlation between a player’s Wonderlic score and their on-field performance. As such, this Note calls for the creation of a football-specific intelligence test that would be less likely to have a disparate impact than the Wonderlic, while also being sufficiently job-related and more reliable in predicting a player’s success.

All of the skill assignments listed below must be used within your starting lineup for a total of 8. A player may possess two assignments if you wish. Rate your lineup by placing the appropriate notation beside a player’s name on the scoresheet. 1) star hitter (H) 2) star slugger (S) 3) star runner (R) 4) star fielder (F) 5) poor hitter (H-) 6) weak hitter (S-) 7) slow runner (R-) 8) poor fielder (F-) Once a player has a skill assignment, he cannot transfer it to another player. There is one additional skill assignment available for an ace pitcher (X). You may, however, choose not to start one. Make any pitcher a poor hitter as well (H-), so there will be two poor hitters if a pitcher is in the lineup. Game Play Roll the dice for each player who comes up to bat, reading the colored die first and the white die second. If a result occurs on the Batting chart which displays an image of a ballplayer, the inning is considered finished with no further scoring. Draw an X in the box on the scoresheet representing the current hitter’s at-bat. When his team next comes up to bat, the next player in the lineup will hit. If the color of a chart result corresponds to the color of the skill assignment of the player who is currently up to bat, the result changes to the one shown on the bottom of the Batting chart.
