Some of our models have multiple light sources. Primary refers to the major light source, usually a worklight, and Secondary refers to the minor light source, usually a flashlight. PRIMARY LED Standard models with an array of LEDs forming the light source. The number indicates the number of LEDs in the array.

SMD An alternative to standard LEDs, Surface-Mounted Diode technology involves fusing an LED to a printed circuit board. It provides more Lumen output than traditional LED arrays and a wider illumination angle. The number indicates the number of SMDs in the array. COB A Chip-On-Board or COB light source is a lighting panel created by bonding multiple LEDs on a substrate. They take up less space so more LEDs can be packed in the same space, resulting in increased Lumen output per square inch. They require fewer components, greatly reducing failure rate and dissipated heat. Less heat loss also makes them more efficient than traditional LED light sources. Most of our COB models indicate the power rating in Watts.

BATTERIES

All our light models come with batteries or charging equipment included. The most commonly used battery types in our products are standard AAA and AA batteries. Some smaller and larger models use button type LR or CR batteries and D batteries respectively.
