B'nai B'rith Banking and Finance Lodge takes special pride in according this well-deserved public tribute to Roy M. Cohn at its annual State of Bond dinner. In public life, he has been a tenacious champion of Israel's right to exist in peace and security and of American economic political support for the beleaguered Jewish

nation. And in private life, he has demonstrated II,,' an equally deep-rooted commitment of purpose on behalf of his fellow man that magnificently reflects the humanitarian ideals which have sustained B'nai B'rith over the past 140 years. Mr. Cohn is one of the country's best-known attorneys. He is the senior member of the law firm of Saxe, Bacon and Bolan. Moreover, the same abounding energies are readily evident in his participation in a broad spectrum of communal, educational and philanthropic endeavors. He has served as adjunct professor at New York Law School, a regent for more than two decades of St. Francis College, special projects director of the Humane Society of New York, president of the American Jewish League Against Communism, a director of the Hebrew Home for the Aged in Riverdale and chairman of P.A.C.E., an organization which supplies prisoners with art and music materials to help foster their rehabilitation. In addition, he has been honored for his efforts on their behalf by the and Federation of Jewish Philanthropies, is active in a project to build a nonsectarian athletic field in and is a longtime member of Banking and Finance Lodge of B'nai B'rith-continuing a tradition established by his father, Justice Albert Cohn, who was president of the organization's New York-New England district. Mr. Cohn has had the opportunity to visit Israel many times and has seen first-hand how the infusion of Israel Bond investment capital has strengthened the industry, agriculture, commerce, energy resources and other important economic facets of our struggling sister democracy in the Middle East. B'nai B'rith Banking and Finance Lodge is delighted to extend this heartfelt salute to so esteemed a member as Roy M. Cohn. And it calls upon his many friends and colleagues to join in honoring him in a manner he is certain to find most meaningful: by reaffirming their own commitment, through Israel Bonds, to fortify Israel's economic defenses.

Banking and Finance Lodge is pleased to take this occasion to grant specia1 recognition to 11 previous guests of honor who have been vital ·forces in the Israel Bond program. These outstanding men are deserving of our deepest appreciation for giving of their time and talents to help upbuild Israel's economy.
