The participants each have an abiding love for Australia and a commitment to share their knowledge for our benefit. As in any group, there are differences of opinion. No contributor need answer for the opinions of any other contributor. The individuals and entities listed in “Recommended Sources of Wisdom” have all been included without their permission being asked or granted. This book is important to Australia, and it is especially important that its readership includes parliamentarians, decision makers and influencers. Please do your part in achieving that goal. A very constructive contribution is purchasing copies for school libraries or local libraries. Thank you in advance. Nothing in this book is medical advice. If you feel crook, see your doctor. If your doctor is on the payroll of the ABC, seek a second opinion. Here is a gross example of ABC propaganda1. There are many varieties of authoritarianism. What they all have in common is the desire to compel the opinions of others. Some will read this book because they know our rulers and their opportunist allies are exploiting COVID-19 for their benefit. Others will read because they know our rulers and their opportunist allies are exploiting the global warming fraud for their benefit. Others will read because they know Australia is inadequately defended against external threats. Some straddle all three viewpoints. This book will be a success if it encourages you, the reader, to insist that our rulers stop making things worse and instead make things better. Please meet and work with allies. To choose a team you might like to join, please use this link for your phone, tablet or computer: www.unchainaustralia.com Michael J.A. Darby, Editor, Western Australia, August 2021 1 https://www.abc.net.au/news/health/2021-03-29/coronavirus-vaccines-concernes-conversation- guide/100018588 vi DEDICATION To the wisest, kindest and most generous individual whom I have ever met, my wonderful son and trusted best friend Douglas Walter Ainslie Darby, whose talent, integrity and forbearance inspire me to aim at reaching his standards. vii ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS (in alphabetical order) Marshall G.P. Ahern has been a loyal friend for seven decades. The son of eminent parliamentarian and constitutionalist Hon H.D. (Barney) Ahern, Marshall is a tireless and imaginative source of freedom ideas and encouragement. George and his dynasty are multi-generational close friends of the Darby family and unwavering defenders of freedom. We worked together to defeat the Australia Card and we are working together now to defeat a raft of more dangerous enemies. Former journalist Dr Christine Finlay PhD is now a leading academic expert on bushfire prevention and firefighting. When good advice is hard to find, Christine is always generous with her time and her talent. Queenslander Viv Forbes has for fifty years been an enduring source of thoughtful advocacy for economic freedom. For more than two decades, on his own behalf and through the Saltbush Club, Viv has been a powerful leadership figure in the battle to defend civilisation against the Global Warming Cult. Viv has contributed a very valuable chapter. The late John Grover OBE (1920-2008)2, geologist, vulcanologist and patriot, in 1979 invited me to edit and typeset his ground-breaking book The Struggle for Power3. Along with thousands of others, I learned a great deal from John Grover. Alan Jones AO is Australia’s most admired broadcaster. Who can forget his advocacy for the innocence of Lindy Chamberlain? Patron of the Galileo Movement, Alan is the people’s champion and the voice of reason, especially on the important issues canvassed in this book. Thank you so much, Alan Jones. Prof Ian Plimer is a man of science, a champion of reliable energy and a resolute proponent of the truth, who constantly inspires. Professor Plimer’s encouragement is deeply appreciated. I commend to all readers Professor Plimer’s valuable books, listed in Recommended Reading. Here is an instructive extract from the Foreword to How to Get Expelled from School: A guide to climate change for pupils, parents and punters by Prof Plimer: 2 https://www.ourcivilisation.com/decline/groverj.htm 3 http://www.the-rathouse.com/2011/Grover-Power.html viii Professor Plimer knows that there are other mechanisms behind the global climate and that the role of man-made CO2 emissions is – if any – very small, almost negligible. There is no doubt that the scientific debate about the issue is still open but the public and political debate was prematurely closed and declared decided. This is why Professor Plimer moved from science to the public debate, to the dispute with the global warming doctrine and its adherents. His book Heaven and Earth, published in 2009, became a worldwide success and influenced public debate in many countries most notably in “his” own Australia. I learned a lot from it and was honoured to be asked to endorse it. I did it by saying among other things that if I had had a chance to read Professor Plimer's book in advance my own book on the subject of global warming would have been better. Dr Václav Klaus, President of the Czech Republic, 20 September 2011 The courageous entrepreneur and outstanding philanthropist Hon. Dr Georgina Hope Rinehart, DUniv(Bond) contributes mightily to Australia’s prosperity.

  • Hate by Infected
Infected by Hate: Far-Right Attempts to Leverage Anti-Vaccine Sentiment Dr. Liram Koblentz-Stenzler, Alexander Pack March 2021 Synopsis The purpose of this article is to alert and educate on a new phenomenon that first appeared worldwide in November 2020, as countries started developing COVID-19 vaccination plans. Far-fight extremists, white supremacists in particular, identified pre-existing concerns in the general public regarding the potential vaccines’ effectiveness, safety, and purpose. In an effort to leverage these concerns, the far-right actors have engaged in a targeted campaign to introduce and amplify disinformation about the potential COVID-19 vaccines via online platforms. These campaigns have utilized five main themes. First, content increasing chaos and promoting accelerationism. Second, content to improve recruitment and radicalization. Third, content connecting COVID-19 or the proposed vaccines to pre-existing conspiracies in the movement. Fourth, content fostering anti-minority sentiment. Fifth, they have begun producing content advocating individual- initiative (lone wolf) attacks against COVID-19 manufacturers. Authorities must be cognizant of this phenomenon and think of ways to prevent it. Failure to recognize and appropriately respond may result in increased recruitment and mobilization within the far-right movement. Similarly, failure to curtail this type of rhetoric will likely increase the public’s hesitancy to go and be vaccinated, increasing the difficulty of eradicating COVID-19. Additionally, far-right extremists are likely to continue suggesting that COVID-19 vaccines are part of a larger conspiracy in order to persuade potential supporters to engage in individual-initiative (lone wolf) attacks. As a result, COVID-19 vaccine manufacturers and distribution venues are likely to be potential targets.

Report on conservative and right wing Europe 20th March, 2021 GERMANY 1. jungefreiheit.de (translated, original by jungefreiheit.de, 18.03.2021) "New German media makers" Migrant organization calls for more “diversity” among journalists media BERLIN. The migrant organization “New German Media Makers” (NdM) has reiterated its demand that editorial offices should become “more diverse”. To this end, the association presented a “Diversity Guide” on Wednesday under the title “How German Media Create More Diversity”. According to excerpts on the NdM website, it says, among other things: “German society has changed, it has become more colorful. That should be reflected in the reporting. ”The manual explains which terms journalists should and should not use in which context. 2 When reporting on criminal offenses, “the prejudice still prevails that refugees or people with an international history are more likely to commit criminal offenses than biographically Germans and that their origin is causally related to it”. Collect "diversity data" and introduce "soft quotas" Especially now, when the media are losing sales, there is a crisis of confidence and more competition, “diversity” is important. "More diversity brings new target groups, new customers and, above all, better, more successful journalism." The more “diverse” editorial offices are, the more it is possible “to take up issues of society without prejudice”, the published excerpts continue to say. “And just as we can no longer imagine a purely male editorial office today, we should also no longer be able to imagine white editorial offices. Precisely because of the special constitutional mandate of the media, the question of fair access and the representation of all population groups in journalism is also a question of democracy.

  • So Many People Are Perplexed with the Covid-19 Lockdowns, Mask Requirements, Social Distancing, Loss of Jobs, Homes, and Their Very Sanity
So many people are perplexed with the Covid-19 lockdowns, mask requirements, social distancing, loss of jobs, homes, and their very sanity. What lies behind all of this? There have been so many conflicting reports that one has to ask the question, Is there even a pandemic at all? Was there ever one? Let’s have a look. ======================== Strange advance hints (predictive programming) – A 1993 Simpsons episode called “Marge in Chains” actually accurately predicted the coronavirus outbreak. One scene depicted a boardroom meeting between government officials and major media moguls. The chairman opened with these words: “I’d like to call to order this secret conclave of America’s media empires. We are here to come up with the next phony baloney crisis to put Americans back where they belong…” Suddenly a delegate from NBC chimed in: “Well I think…” Then the chairman interrupted him, saying: “NBC, you are here to listen and not speak!” He then said: “I think we should go with a good old fashioned health scare.” Everyone then nodded in approval. Next, a female delegate remarked: “A new disease–no one’s immune–it’s like The Summer of the Shark, except instead of the shark, it’s an epidemic.” – Another Simpsons episode called “A Totally Fun Thing that Bart will Never Do Again,” first aired on April 29, 2012, featured an emergency broadcast announcing the outbreak of the deadly “Pandora Virus,” and how it was “spreading rapidly.” The announcer then said: “This unprecedented threat requires a world-wide quarantine. All ships must remain at sea until further notice.

  • When Architecture and Politics Meet
Housing a Legislature: When Architecture and Politics Meet Russell L. Cope Introduction By their very nature parliamentary buildings are meant to attract notice; the grander the structure, the stronger the public and national interest and reaction to them. Parliamentary buildings represent tradition, stability and authority; they embody an image, or the commanding presence, of the state. They often evoke ideals of national identity, pride and what Ivor Indyk calls ‘the discourse of power’.1 In notable cases they may also come to incorporate aspects of national memory. Consequently, the destruction of a parliamentary building has an impact going beyond the destruction of most other public buildings. The burning of the Reichstag building in 1933 is an historical instance, with ominous consequences for the German State.2 Splendour and command, even majesty, are clearly projected in the grandest of parliamentary buildings, especially those of the Nineteenth Century in Europe and South America. Just as the Byzantine emperors aimed to awe and even overwhelm the barbarian embassies visiting their courts by the effects of architectural splendour and 1 Indyk, I. ‘The Semiotics of the New Parliament House’, in Parliament House, Canberra: a Building for the Nation, ed. by Haig Beck, pp. 42–47. Sydney, Collins, 1988. 2 Contrary to general belief, the Reichstag building was not destroyed in the 1933 fire. The chamber was destroyed, but other parts of the building were left unaffected and the very large library continued to operate as usual. A lot of manipulated publicity by the Nazis surrounded the event. Full details can be found in Gerhard Hahn’s work cited at footnote 27.

Here are some questions we have taken on notice and additional information that we have included in this additional submission. 1. What sort of threshold do you think would constitute human rights abuses? There has been a fair bit of outrage about the recent arrest of Martin Lee, Jimmy Lai and others in Hong Kong. Where would you suggest the line be drawn in terms of human rights abuses there that would trigger action under something like a global Magnitsky act? 2. Are there any Hong Kong Australian business people who receive benefit or who are benefited by their links to the Chinese Communist Party and mainland officials? And is there an understanding that, for their business interests to continue to be supported, they must remain silent about the erosion of democracy in Hong Kong? Further to that, does it go further, whereby these individuals actually contribute to the suppression of activists and/or the democracy movement in Hong Kong? If so, could those individuals be captured by potential Magnitsky style laws in Australia? 3.
