On 10 December 1986 we submitted to you our Reports Nos. 521 and 522 following our consideration of the review of the City of Exeter's boundary with the Districts of East Devon and Teignbridge in the County of Devon, and of part of the parish review of the District of East Devon. 2. In our Report No. 522 we proposed the realignment of the boundary between the Parishes of Woodbury and Clyst St. George in order to place the village of Ebford within Clyst. St. George. \3e made this proposal under section 51 of the Local Government Act 1972 in advance of our other proposals on the East Devon parish review, with the request that the proposal be implemented concurrently with those on the District of Exeter boundary review if they were implemented. In your Department's letter of 3 April 1987 we were informed of your decision to make an Order under section 51(2) of the Act giving effect to the proposal set out in our Report No. 522 without modification. 3. We considered the District Council's parish review report, the Council's Working Party's report and associated comments, in accordance with the requirements of section 48(9) of the Act, together with the enclosed representations which were received direct, and which are listed in the attached Schedule A.

We have been generously donated three new books recently This book will act as an informative research guide for those seeking to discover and uncover the stories of the men who fought and the families they left behind. It will look in particular at the kind of support the men received if they were war injured and that offered to the families of the bereaved. Some pensions were available to regular soldiers and the Patriotic Fund, a charitable organisation, had been resurrected at the beginning of the conflict. However for those who did not fit these categories the Poor Law was the only support available at the time. This book explores a variety of research materials such as: contemporary national and local newspapers; military records via websites and directly through regimental archives; census, electoral, marriage and death records; records at the National Archives including the Book of Wounds from the Boer War, the Transvaal Widows’ Fund and others. Drawing on the distinguished records of the three original West Country Regiments, this delightful and substantial book brings together a superb and varied collection of military anecdotes. Reflecting Britain's Imperial history, these cover empire building in India, the American War of Independence, the Napoleonic era, the Crimean, Zulu and Boer Wars, as well as the horrors and heroism of The Great War. As fascinating as the events and battles themselves is the rich cast of Regimental characters: selfless heroes mix with spies, explorers, scientists, radical agitators and philanderers. Whateve r their experiences, exploits and the occasional scandal, what they all have in common is service, both to Crown and also to the Regiment .

L 82 / 67 RÅDETS DIREKTIV af 28 . februar 1984 om fællesskabslisten over ugunstigt stillede landbrugsområder i henhold til direktiv 75 / 268 / EØF ( Det forenede Kongerige ) ( 84 / 169 / EØF ) RÅDET FOR DE EUROPÆISKE FÆLLESSKABER HAR — følgende kendetegn for de forholdsvis uproduktive jor­ der omhandlet i artikel 3 , stk . 4 , litra a), i direktiv 75 / 268 / EØF , er blevet lagt til grund med henblik på at afgrænse hvert enkelt af de pågældende områder : græs­ under henvisning til traktaten om oprettelse af Det arealet udgør over 70 % af det udnyttede landbrugs­ europæiske økonomiske Fællesskab , areal , dyrebestanden er under 1 enhed stort kvæg ( ESK ) pr . hektar foderareal og forpagtningsbeløbene over­ stiger ikke 65 % af det nationale gennemsnit ; under henvisning til Rådets direktiv 75 / 268 / EØF af 28 . april 1975 om landbrug i bjergområder og i visse ugunstigt stillede områder (*), senest ændret ved direk­ tiv 82 / 786 / EØF ( 2 ), særlig artikel 2 , stk . 2 , bedrifternes økonomiske resultater , der ligger væsentligt under gennemsnittet , som omhandlet i artikel 3 , stk . 4 , litra b ), i direktiv 75 / 268 / EØF , er blevet defineret ved hjælp af et kendetegn , der henviser til arbejdsind­ under henvisning til forslag fra Kommissionen , komsten , som ikke overstiger 80 % af det nationale gennemsnit ; under henvisning til udtalelse fra Europa-Parlamen­ tet ( 3 ), og med hensyn til den ringe befolkningstæthed , som omhandlet i artikel 3 , stk . 4 , litra c), i direktiv 75 / ud fra følgende betragtninger : 268 / EØF , overstiger det anvendte kendetegn ikke 55 indbyggere pr . km 2 ( exkl . befolkning i by- og indu­ stricentre), idet det nationale gennemsnit og fælles­ skabsgennemsnittet er henholdsvis 229 og 163 indbyg­ Ved direktiv 75 / 276 / EØF ( 4 ) angives , hvilke områder i gere pr .
