Instructions for Windows Classes using Jitsi Meet

Note: The following ( based) browsers will work with Jitsi Meet

Microsoft Edge (Chromium) ://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/ Preferred for Windows You will need to upgrade your older version of MS Edge by downloading the new Edge update. The “stub” file is 1.7MB in Size. Either Save and install or Run the download to upgrade your older copy of . If you don’t see the Icon above then you do NOT have the new version of Edge. All your existing settings will stay the same.

Google Chrome (make sure it’s updated to version 81.0.4044.122) & Opera GTX , but you MUST disable “Shields” first. Note: , , Explorer, or will NOT work! If you accidentally open one of these browsers, please close the before continuing.

You will copy and paste in the following URL/Link in your (Chromium based) Browser.

You are invited to join a meeting. Join the meeting: https://meet.jit.si/OnlineTrainingWithBruceTurner Make sure your Camera and Mic are plugged in and working. You will see a “pop up” below, follow the instructions. Make sure you select “Allow”. If you get any other error that just means you don’t have your camera or Mic activated.
