New Delhi visit includes Qutab Minar, one of the earliest remains of Imperial Delhi (13th century AD ) Humayun's Tomb-the fine monument believed to be forerunner of Taj Mahal, India Gate, the 42 metre high arch was raised as a memorial to soldiers, drives past Parliament House, President's House, Secretariat Building, Laxminarayan Temple and The Connaught Place.

Day 03 -- Delhi-, 260 km() Drive to Mandawa and on arrival, check-in at the hotel.

Mandawa Castle, Mandawa - Towering high above the town of Mandawa, this rugged handsome fort guides the tired and weary traveller to its portals. Built in 1775 by Thakur Nawal Singh, descendant of Rao Shekhaji, who also founded the city of Nawalgarh. The Castle, now a 51 rooms hotel has no two rooms alike. It also houses an interesting collection of paintings, jade, costumes and antiques.

Day 04 -- Mandawa-Khimsar drive, 275 km On arrival, check-in at the hotel

Khimsar Fort, Khimsar, located 145 km short of Jodhpur and well connected with Mandawa and Bikaner,- perched on the edge of the Great Thar Desert in the heart of virgin India lies a unique 16th century fort. Rao Jodha - the founding Maharaja of Jodhpur successfully launched the royal dynastry at Khimsar. Day 05 -- Khimsar-Jodhpur-Roetgarh, 135 km, 4 hours In the morning drive, to Jodhpur, visiting enroute Mandore.

Mandore, the ancient capital of Marwar lies 8 km north of Jodhpur. This area is of immense historical importance but what makes it worthy of a visit is the Hall of Heroes. Sixteen gigantic figures carved out a single rock depicting popular Hindu and folk deities stand there in bright colours and are well maintained.

Afterwards, proceed to Jodhpur, 13 km for visit. In villages of other tribes, one can witness the opium ceremony - a ritual by which guests are traditionally welcomed. Gaily attired men and women carry on about their chores and one can catch a glimpse of their norms and customs. Day 07 -- Rohetgarh-Pushkar, 180 km Drive to Pushkar and on arrival, check-in at PUSHKAR PALACE.

Pushkar, this sacred town lies 11 km north east of and 130 km from Jaipur. According to mythology, Pushkar Lake is supposed to have appeared miraculously when a lotus flower fell from the hands of Lord Brahma and dropped into this valley. On Kartik Poornima, thousands of pilgrims come to bathe in the holy waters of the Pushkar Lake. An annual cattle fair is held every year for 5 days which attract thousands of tourists from all over the world. Visit Pushkar Lake, Brahma Temple and other temples around the lake. Samode Haveli, Jaipur built by Rawal Sheo Soinghji, a Prime Minister in the royal court of Jaipur. The Haveli is the result of around 200 years of construction in phases, by its occupants. The haveli with 18 rooms and 2 suites has some beautiful frescoes, arched windows and intricate wall designs. It is located in the heart of the walled city.

Day 09 -- Jaipur Morning excursion to Amber Fort, set in a picturesque location. Amer is a fascinating blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture. Built in the 16th century by Raja Mansingh in red sandstone and white marble, the palace complex has some very interesting apartments. Jai Mandir, Sheesh Mahal, Sukh Niwas, Ganesh Pol and Temple of Kali are some of the prominent areas of interest. Elephants are provided to ascend the fort to visit the complex.

Jaipur, this city was built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer 260 years ago. Day 10 -- Jaipur-Agra, 235 km Drive to Agra visiting en-route Fatehpur Sikri

Fatehpur Sikri, the birth story of this beautiful city is interesting. There, in a grotto in Sikri, lived a Muslim Saint , Sheikh Salim Chishti by name. Akbar hearing of his renown, asked of the blessings of a son, and when a son was born, not only was the child named Salim, the site for a mighty and ambitious project - a city - was chosen near the residence of the saint erected in k1569. The shortage of water lead to the desertion of this city. Visit the mosque of Salim Chishti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces.

Day 11 -- Agra-Delhi drive, 204 km/4 hours Morning sightseeing tour of Agra.

Agra, the home of the immortal Taj Mahal, the inimitable poem in white marble is the first expression of love of an Emperor Shahjehan for his queen Mumtaz Mahal. This great monument was completed in 1653 AD. Agra Fort, the imposing structure on the banks of the river Yamuna is replete with priceless examples of craftsmanship in the Mughal period, including the beautiful pearl Mosque, it was designed and built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD. Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah built between 1622 AD by Empress Nur Jehan, in memory of her father, Ghias-id-Din Beg., it is considered a precursor of the Taj Mahal.

Day-05-Bikaner The Forts and Palaces tour package includes tours to all the major Forts and Palaces, so on day 5 the tour group will visit the Junagadh Fort, which was built in the 16th century by Raja Rai Singh. Day-06-Bikaner-Jaisalmer On this morning the tour group will head to Jaisalmer. Upon the arrival, the group will check into the hotel, booked beforehand. In the afternoon, you will be free so, you can either rest or go on a tour of the city by your own self. Overnight stay would be at the hotel.

Day-07-Jaisalmer On this day, you will get to visit the second oldest fort in , the Jaisalmer fort, which was built in 1156. After which, you can check out two famous havelis, the Patwon-Ki-Haveli and Salim Singh Ki Haveli. There would also be a visit to Lodurva, a grand Jain temple. After this extensive tour, you will be accompanied back to hotel, where you would spend the night.

Day-08-Jaisalmer This day, you will get to see the real desert land. You will visit the picturesque Sam sand dunes and see the beautiful ripples on sand created by wind. You may also take a camel ride and have a real adventure. For night you will be accompanied back to the hotel.

Day-09-Jaisalmer-Jodhpur On the ninth day, your tour package will take you to Jodhpur. Where upon arrival you will be checked into a hotel. Overnight stay would be at this hotel.

Day-10-Jodhpur The tenth day will be spent touring Jodhpur. Day 02 :: Delhi / Bagdogra - Darjeeling (Flight/Car) Morning after breakfast transfer to domestic airport to board flight for Bagdogra. Met upon arrival and drive to reach Darjeeling (2134 M) by covering approx. 110 kms in 4 - 5 hrs. The route winds its way through tea estates. There is a narrow gauge railway line running parallel and crisscrossing the road. Darjeeling is called the jewel in the crown. Upon arrival check into hotel for overnight stay.

Day 03 :: Darjeeling Morning visit Tiger Hill to see the sunrise and also get the best view of the world's third highest mountain Kanchenjunga and other peaks. On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery Enshrining Maitreyee Buddha. After breakfast proceed for a ride in the famous toy train for half an hour. Day 04 :: Darjeeling / Pemayangtse After breakfast drive to Pemayangste (5 -6 hrs approx). Today's drive is truly a naturalist's delight. The hill sides and mountain slopes of Sikkim are strewn with bright patches of myriad colors. Afternoon at leisure. Evening bird watch at Rabdenste palace ruins. Leading ornithologists Dr. Salim Ali had spotted about 120 species of Himalayan birds in this small area. Overnight in hotel.

Day 05 :: Pemayangste Early morning we trek 3 kms uphill to visit the Sanga Choelling monastery perched on a hill top. On reaching, view the sunrise and excellent view of the khanchendzonga & the adjoining peaks. From here the Nepal valley can also be seen. Later visit the Pemayangste monastery, also known as the "Perfect sublime lotus" is one of the oldest in Sikkim.

Afternoon excursion to Kachoepatri lake a distance of 27 kms to be covered In almost 2 hrs. Considered holy by the locals. Although surrounded by thick forest, one might be surprised not to find a single leaf on the lake. Visit the monastery nearby. Return to hotel to watch the dusk (setting sun) from the hotel.

Day 06 :: Pemayangste / Gangtok (1660 M) via Tashiding Monastery After breakfast drive to Gangtok (5 - 6 hrs approx) enroute visit the Tashiding monastery, a short trek from the main road . On arrival in Gangtok check-in hotel. Late afternoon visit the handicraft centre, the institute of Tibetology, Orchid sanctuary and Do - drul chorten. Overnight in hotel.

Day 07 :: Gangtok Early morning visit hanumatok to view another sunrise over Khanchendzonga & the adjoining peaks. After breakfast leave for excursion to Rumtek Monastery - the grandest of the monasteries in Sikkim and in wealth. It is about 45 minute drive from Gangtok. Return to Gangtok. Evening discover the local market. Overnight in hotel.

Day 08 :: Gangtok / New Jalpaiguri After early breakfast transfer to New Jalpaiguri railway station in time to connect overnight train to Bhubaneshwar. Dep: 1500 hrs. Overnight on board train.

Day 09 :: Bhubaneshwar Arrive Bhubaneshwar at 1241 hrs. Transfer to hotel. Afternoon half day sight-seeing of Bhubaneshwar visiting Parasurameshwara, Mukteshwar, Raja Rani & Ligaraja Temples. Overnight in hotel.

Day 10 :: Bhubaneshwar After breakfast full day sight-seeing of Bhubaneshwar visiting Kandagiri, Udaigiri caves and Nadan Kannan zoological and botanical gardens. Overnight in hotel.

Day 11 :: Bhubaneshwar / Puri After breakfast drive to Puri visiting Dhauli, Pipli & Konark on the way. On arrival check-in hotel for overnight stay.

Day 12 :: Puri Morning sight-seeing of Puri visiting Jagannath temple, Gundicha temple, Narendra Tank and Bada danda (The local market in front of the temple) Afternoon free to relax on the beach. Overnight in hotel.

Day 13 :: Puri / Baliguda After breakfast drive to Baliguda (310 Kms / 8 hrs approx) visiting a few road side Semi - Tribal Villages. Overnight in hotel. (This day must be a Monday).

Day 14 :: Baliguda / Rayagada After breakfast drive to Rayagada (220 Kms / 6 hrs) enroute visiting a few Kuttiya Kindha villages. Overnight in hotel / guest house. (This day must be a Tuesday).

Day 15 :: Rayagada / Jeypore After breakfast drive to Niyamagiri hills, visit of a few Dongariya Kondha villages & weekly market (Weekly Market is only on Wednesday). Proceed to Jeypore (260 Kms / 6 - 7 hrs). Overnight in hotel.

Day 16 :: Jeypore After breakfast drive to Onukudelli , visit of Bonda & Gadhaba market & a few Gadhaba Villages (Weekly market is only on Thursday) . Return drive to Jeypore for overnight stay (180 kms / 4 - 5 hrs drive round trip).

Day 17 :: Jeypore / Tatapani After breakfast drive to Taptapani (310 Kms / 7 - 8 Hrs) visiting Jagannath Temple & Tribal museum at Koraput. Overnight in hotel.

Day 18 :: Tatapani / Bhubaneshwar After breakfast drive to Bhubaneshwar (235 Kms / 6 - 7 hrs) enroute visiting Chilka lake (Asia's largest Salt water Lake). Boat ride on the lake. Later proceed Bhubaneshwar for overnight stay.

Day 19 :: Bhubaneshwar / Delhi After breakfast transfer to airport for flight to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 20 :: Delhi / onward destination After breakfast leave for full day city tour visiting Qutub Minar, India gate (war memorial), Lakshminarayan Temple - modern Hindu temple, drive past President's House, Parliament House & Secretariat Building. Afternoon sight-seeing of Old Delhi visit Rajghat & Shanti Vana (the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru), Jama Masjid and drive past Red fort and Chandni Chowk. Await transfer to international airport for flight to onward destination.
