2 Exclusive garden cruises aboard the SEA CLOUD CRUISES yachts.

We have put together a colourful bouquet of garden cruises for 2011 especially for garden lovers who would like to share their passion with like-minded people. The SEA CLOUD II will be taking in a lush variety of Spanish and Italian gardens during the early and late parts of the summer. In May, as befits its rank as a true wind- jammer legend, the SEA CLOUD will be taking in the famous and legendary parks and gardens of Great Britain, as well as the Chelsea Flower Show. There are also blooming paradises all along the waterways of Europe, which can be discovered on board the RIVER CLOUD II river yacht. These include the well-known tulip fields and formal private gardens of the Netherlands, the baroque palace grounds in Würzburg and the royal romantic gardens on the floodplains of the Danube. A special recommendation for 2011 is the German Federal Horticultural Show, which is due to take place in Koblenz.

Our excursions will enable you to join a small group of gardeners to discover unique garden paradises under the expert guidance of a reputable landscape gardener. On board, meanwhile, enjoy the com- fort and atmosphere of an exquisite yacht in the company of 80 guests at most. No matter where the journey takes you, the spirit of sailing is brought to life on all the SEA CLOUD CRUISES yachts. Our own five-star style will be evident in the cabins, in our first- class cuisine and in an attentive yet discreet level of service.

3 LEGENDARY

BEGUILING

INCOMPARABLE

The SEA CLOUD: the greatest windjammer legend of all time.

At its launch in 1931, the SEA CLOUD was the most magnificent sailing yacht in the world, a masterpiece of shipbuilding and the last private four-mast boat ever to have been built. Every detail reveals the originality of that time; every extra- vagance shows the charming individuality of its original owners, the millionaire couple Marjorie Merriweather-Post and Edward Hutton. The chequered past of the SEA CLOUD reads like an exciting novel in which a piece of world history has been recorded.

2011 marks the start of another exciting chapter as our legend celebrates her 80th birthday by leaving the shipyard in Bremerhaven to glide glamorously back out to the sea once again. As the SEA CLOUD calls in at a German port for the first time in 30 years, you can be right there on our garden cruise!

You will have no problem finding your own favourite place on this birthday cruise, whether this is at the Blue Lagoon at the stern with a view over the open sea, or the bench next to the bridge in the shadows of the front sail with the horizon straight ahead. Everyone will soon be enchanted by her magic as for many the SEA CLOUD is the real highlight of the trip. Quite simply, she still is the most magnificent windjammer legend of all time.

4 CLASSIC

NOSTALGIC

ELEGANT

The SEA CLOUD II: nostalgic flair with a modern twist.

There is something special about the SEA CLOUD II, this becomes clear as soon as you step on board. This ship has mastered the art of bringing everything and everyone together – combining the tradition of sailing with modern life, and cosy nostalgia with a great deal of freedom. The windjammer has the luxury of being small but perfectly formed – there are only 29 deluxe outside cabins, 16 junior suites and two owner suites spread over three decks. Therefore, discerning cruisers can discover their passion for real sailing ships, whilst sailing enthusiasts will become devotees of great voyages.

The time of day, you will be impressed by the tranquil atmosphere of the library, the bar and the restaurant with their stunning sea views. Enjoy the soft tones of the Steinway piano in the spacious lounge. Sporty types will be attracted to the gym and the sauna. And depending on sea conditions, the swim platform provides direct access to the largest swimming pool in the world – the sea. There is always a new favourite place to sit waiting to be discovered on the bridge or lido deck, whilst in the restaurant a new table with new perspectives will be ready for you at every mealtime. It is left up to you to choose where, when and with whom you sit down for a meal.

The fine menus created in the kitchens will delight even the most discerning gourmets. Indeed, the SEA CLOUD II has already been given the honour of being accepted by the international Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.

5 MODERN

MEDITERRANEAN

MARITIME

The RIVER CLOUD II: in a class of its own.

Her sister ships cruise under white sails to four continents – grand, majestic and exceedingly elegant. Our RIVER CLOUD II feels more at home in the Old World. She glides along the most beautiful rivers in the heart of Europe, offering unique and unsurpassable experiences. She sails with Mediterranean charm along the waterways of Belgium and the Netherlands and along the , , Main and Danube rivers. She sets a romantic course and interprets the maritime nature of our tall sailing ships in her own unique way – exclusive, very elegant and com- pletely relaxed at all times.

Discover life on board at your own leisure on the spacious decks. A natural, informal way of socialising replaces excessive formality and conventional reserve. Our international guests appreciate a sophisticated form of entertainment. We ensure there is a great deal of variety but always in the same spirit – whether it is performed by select artists or interesting lecturers.

Our accomplished 5-star style is personal and individual, whilst at the same time being very special. This is apparent in our first-class cuisine and attentive service, as well as in your own personal realm on board. The journey then becomes something to value in its own right. By the time the crew have cast off, you can leave your everyday life far behind. And then it is time for you to enjoy the voyage.
