The CBR resort has rooms in a colorful two-bedroom lake on the shore of a 42-acre lake. Each village has its own swimming pool, white sandy beach with hammocks and playgrounds, laundry, bus stop, and parking. You can identify villages by their colorful buildings: Jamaica yellow buildings with sky-blue roofs of Aruba pink and purple buildings with aqua roofs Barbados light blue buildings with coral roofs martinique corals and pink buildings with aqua roofs of Trinidad North and South light and dark coral buildings with dark coral roofs Colorful building in Jamaica Village This resort is very common and large. The farthest rooms in the old Port Royal main building are easily within 15 minutes. Disney's main Skyliner center is located in The Caribbean Beach, south of the Jamaican village, hosted by CBR in the prime location due to its easy access to Epcot and Hollywood Studios via Skyliner. The Caribbean beach is also close to Disney's Riviera resort. Guests in the village of Martinique can easily walk to the Riviera to take advantage of the Skyliner station located there. There is also a barefoot Marina Bay and a bicycle factory (bike rental), bus stop and parking. Walk between Port Royale: The most remote rooms are a 15-minute walk away. If the distance from OPR is important to you consider booking your preferred building. Be sure to check the resort's map when booking. The nearest buildings to ODA are on Martinique (in order of proximity: buildings 26, 25 and 24). The farthest buildings are in parts of Trinidad (buildings 37-39). The villages of Aruba and Jamaica are across the lake from ODA; some buildings (44-46 and 51-53) in these villages are quite close. If you wish, you can drive from the room to the ODA or use the internal bus. The clock pools are seasonal and only the main pool has lifeguards on duty during official opening hours. The main pool can be crowded during the hot afternoon hours, and the seat space has a big premium. However, the village pools are rarely crowded, so you can try one of those if the main pool is full. The beaches of each village have a white sandy beach on the lake. (After all, it's a Caribbean resort!) The beaches have sunbeds and comfortable hammocks. Swimming in the lake is prohibited; however, you are invited to get wet in the adjacent village pools. Small playgrounds are located on the village beaches of Barbados, Jamaica and Trinidad. Bicycles can be rented at the marina. The 1.1-mile promenade around the lake is great for cycling. In addition, the very fun Surrey bikes are designed to accommodate parties from 2 to 4. Buses are italicized approximately every 20 minutes - usually more often - from 1 hour before the park opens to 1 hour after the park closes. This includes walking from your room to the bus stop, waiting for the bus, being on the bus, and walking from the theme park bus stop to the entrance gate. There is no direct service from the CBD to other resorts. You take the bus to the theme park or Disney Springs and then re-hunt the monorail, boat or other bus, depending on where you go. The resort can take more than an hour. Buses to and from theme parks and Disney Springs make stops at OPR and in all CBR villages. Some buses start the CBR loop on Martinique and continue to OPR, Trinidad, Jamaica, Aruba, and finally Barbados before leaving the CBR. Other buses travel to Jamaica and continue to Aruba, Barbados, Martinique, ODA and Trinidad. There is no good reason to prefer one village to another, based on transport accessibility.
