© TLA Worldwide 2020 TLAWorldwide.com BIO Corey Enright grew up in the small town of Kimba, near Port Augusta on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula. Enright played junior football with the Kimba Districts Tigers and transitioned through the grades to senior football at the age of 15. By 17 he was the regions best player, winning the Eastern Eyre Football League’s Mail Medal for the league’s player. He played a few games for the Port Adelaide Magpies under 19 team in the SANFL, who at the time were zoned to the Eyre Peninsula. Geelong took a punt on Enright at pick 47 in the 1999 AFL Draft, and little did they know the impact he would have at the Cats.

Following his debut in 2001, Enright became a household name in Geelong’s backline. His resume is up there with the greats of the game, a three time Premiership player, twice won the Best & Fairest in Premiership seasons and earned six All-Australian selections as arguably the greatest half back of the modern era. He retired at the conclusion of the 2016 season, playing 332 games in the hoops, and passing ’ games record for the . Working closely with Geelong’s youngsters towards the end of his playing career, Enright immediately transitioned into coaching as a Development Coach in 2017. Now an Assistant Coach under Chris Scott, Enright oversees the forward line. Outside of football, Enright has business interests in pubs in Geelong. He is part owner of the Geelong Hotel, and the Inn Hotel.
