I took part in a squat challenge again in November to complete 3,000 squats during the month raising some money for a breast cancer charity. I completed this with days left to spare. In December I took part in ‘Operation Bletchley’, a challenge to complete 24 miles of walking completing clues every 4 miles before continuing on the next 4 miles. It was a fun challenge which kept me active between Christmas and New Year and also kept my brain ticking over. This challenge was for ‘The Soldiers Charity ABF’. For 2021 I figured I needed a bigger challenge. “I have signed up to complete the Jurassic Coastline walk on 15th and 16th May 2021”.

11 SPRING 2021 FISHER PLASTICS NEWS NEW Haitian machine

The main reason for the energy saving is the servo hydraulic systems that controls the machine. In layman’s terms, it works very similar to the on-off system of a car. When the machine isn’t running it shuts down to reduce the energy consumption. During the moulding cycle there can be periods where the machine is doing nothing but clamping the tool. With this technology there is also a significant reduction in noise.
