Mycosphere 10(1), 310–489, Doi 10.5943/mycosphere/10/1/7 Abstract Leotiomycetes is regarded as the inoperculate class of discomycetes within the phylum Ascomycota. Taxa are mainly characterized by asci with a simple pore blueing in Melzer’s reagent, although some taxa have lost this character. The monophyly of this class has been verified in several recent molecular studies. However, circumscription of the orders, families and generic level delimitation are still unsettled. This paper provides a modified backbone tree for the class Leotiomycetes based on phylogenetic analysis of combined ITS, LSU, SSU, TEF, and RPB2 loci. In the phylogenetic analysis, Leotiomycetes separates into 19 clades, which can be recognized as orders and order-level clades. -

Some recent Slovak collections of Trichoglossum were identified as the rare species T. octoparti- tum. The species had not been reported before from Slovakia or central Europe. ABSTRACT — Sampling and analysis of gasteroid agaricomycete species ( Phallomycetidae and Agaricomycetidae ) associated with relicts of native Espinal forests in the southeast region of Córdoba, Argentina, have identified twenty-nine species in fourteen genera: Bovista (4), Calvatia (2), Cyathus (1), Disciseda (4), Geastrum (7), Itajahya (1), Lycoperdon (2), Lysurus (2), Morganella (1), Mycenastrum (1), Myriostoma (1), Sphaerobolus (1), Tulostoma (1), and Vascellum (1). The gasteroid species from the sampled Espinal forests showed an overall similarity with those recorded from neighboring phytogeographic regions; however, a new species of Lysurus was found and is briefly described, and Bovista coprophila is a new record for Argentina. Kalifornisch heiß und buschfeuergefährdet, aber mit Linksverkehr und weniger Kriminalität. Das Land dazwischen? Lauter Cowboys ohne Colts, Country Music ohne Johnny Cash (aber mit Slim Dusty) und Schafe, Rinder, Rinder, Schafe. Die Strände? Unendlich. Im Busch seltsame Beutelhüpfer und wippend-wogend durchs Steppengras streifende Straußenvögel mit drei Buchstaben. Am Nachthimmel das Kreuz des Südens, welches allerdings so unscheinbar ist, dass man es ohne Anleitung kaum fi ndet. In der Mitte dieser dicke, rote Sandsteinklotz, der jetzt wieder so heißt wie in den Jahrtausenden vor der Landnahme des weißen Mannes: Uluru. Und in und über allem: die große Freiheit – Freiheit von europäischer Enge und bürokratischer Gängelei, Freiheit von Zivilisationsschäden in einer Marlboro-Landschaft, in der sogar Nichtraucher Platz haben, die Freiheit des Pioniers und die Vorurteilsfreiheit einer egalitären Gesellschaft, in der sich der große Boss und der kleine Arbeiter beim Vornamen nennen und jeder seines Glückes Schmied ist ... So die Legende, so das Klischee. Ich möchte über meine vierte Australienreise berichten. Die erste (1970 - 1972) war eigentlich keine Reise, sondern ein Lebensabschnitt mit Auswanderungsoption, mit allen Höhen und Tiefen, die man als junger, nicht nur Pilze suchender Mensch durchschreitet (danach entstand der autobiographische Roman Des Himmels Blau in uns).
