Alden 11/2 * at Mercyhurst L, 3-4 Dupuis led the way offensively with eight points on three goals and five assists and was plus-6. Hamacher 11/3 * at Mercyhurst T, 2-2 (OT) added six points on three goals and three assists and line-mate Shawn Cameron recorded four points. 11/9 * AIC W, 2-1 Logan Drackett stopped 67 shots in the two wins, including 31-of-32 in game three. Wednesday, Dupuis scored two goals in a game one loss. On Thursday, Dupuis enjoyed the finest game of his collegiate career to date with four points on a goal and three assists and was plus-4 in a 7-3 12/8 * SACRED HEART L, 4-6 win. In game three Friday, Dupuis caused a turnover and sent a saucer pass to Jake Hamacher for the 12/15 * NIAGARA W, 8-4 game-winning goal with 2:19 remaining in regulation. He then assisted on Hamacher’s empty-netter to 1/4 * at Niagara T, 4-4 (OT) lift RIT to the 3-1 win. Dupuis has 22 points on 10 goals and 12 assists and is a team-best plus-16 this 1/5 * NIAGARA W, 2-1 season. He is also tied for the Division I lead with three shorthanded goals. (AP) — The NHL has fined Buffalo Sabres goalie Michal Neuvirth $2,000 for diving and embellishment after drawing a penalty in a game against the Nashville Predators last weekend. The disciplinary action announced on Wednesday was a second offense for Neuvirth. The first offense merited a warning, and occurred during a game against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Nov. 15. Fines increase with each instance up to $5,000 following a fifth offense. The punishment came after the league's Hockey Operations Department reviewed an interference penalty called against Nashville's Mike Santorelli early in the second period of the Predators' 2-1 shootout win. In a separate move, Buffalo returned rookie defenseman Jake McCabe to AHL Rochester. The Sabres had the day off, and host Vancouver on Thursday. Canucks-Sabres preview Associated Press February 25, 2015 Buffalo will have to wait until next season to welcome Ryan Miller back to town. It might also be that long before Sabres All-Star Zemgus Girgensons sees the ice again. With both injured, Miller's surging Vancouver Canucks look to conclude an already successful five-game trip with a third straight victory Thursday night against Buffalo.
