Temporary Closure of Burstock Lane, Drimpton Temporary Closure

County Council Temporary Closure of Lane, intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffi c Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along BURSTOCK LANE, DRIMPTON from its junction with Blind Lane and its junction with Wood Lane, a distance of approximately 480 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation in two parts on 7 July 2018 with an end date of 14 July 2018 and 15 August 2018 with an end date of 22 August 2018 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 22 August 2018. This order will enable Southern Electric, safe access to carry out refurbishment works to overhead cables. An alternative vehicular route will be signed using; B3162 Chard Road - B3162 Road - West Street - Hursey - Rookery Lane - Burstock Lane. Temporary Closure of Potwell Farm Road, Mosterton DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffi c Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along POTWELL FARM ROAD, MOSTERTON from Mosterton Cross, to the junction of Windsor Close, a distance of approximately 50 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 2 July 2018 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 13 July 2018. This order will enable Wessex Water, safe access to lay a new water main. Temporary Closure of The Green, DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffi c Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along THE GREEN, BEAMINSTER from its junction with Woodswater Lane to its junction with Middle Green, a distance of approximately 300 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 2nd July 2018 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 13 July 2018. This order will enable SGN, safe access to relay gas mains and services. An alternative vehicular route will be signed using; White Sheet Hill - C67 - A356 - B3163 - Whitcombe Road - The Green. Temporary Closure of Public Footpath No. 3 Bridport DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffi c Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrians will be prohibited from proceeding along footpath No3 Bridport, from grid reference SY 466 935 to grid reference SY 467 935 a distance of approximately 100 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on the 2 July 2018 for a period of 6 months. But it can be, extended, with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary. The order is required to allow the development works to be carried out on William James Buildings. On this occasion there is no reasonable alternative route.
