Ahead of their European tour dates this May, as well as a newly announced run of US dates this summer, Quilt are debu ng a series of live videos and interviews recorded at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts (MFA). The set — which featured a string quarter — includes unique live takes on “Hissing My Plea”, “Padova” and “Your Island”, all three of which appeared on the band's recently released third album, Plaza, available now on Mexican Summer. The string quartet will also join them for a special hometown show in NYC at Bowery Ballroom on Thu. June 23rd, one you won’t want to miss!
Speaking about the “Padova” video and its accompanying interview, the band's Shane Butler says: "In February we had our first opportunity to perform live with strings and flute at The Museum Of Fine Arts in Boston. This video is a li le clip with emphasis on the sounds of those instruments and some words about our rela onship with visual art and performing at the Museum."
