This Order, published yearly, provides a listing of all regulatory and non-regulatory Special Use Airspace areas, as well as issued but not yet implemented amendments to those areas established by the Federal Aviation Administration. 2. Audience. Airspace and Aeronautical Operations, Air Traffic Controllers, and interested aviation parties. 3. Where Can I Find This Order. You can find this Order on the FAA Air Traffic Plans and Publications Web site at http://www.faa.gov/airports_airtraffic/air_traffic/publications/, and the FAA employees’ Web site at https://employees.faa.gov/tools_resources/orders_notices/. 4. What This Order Cancels. JO FAA Order 7400.8N, Special Use Airspace, dated February 16, 2007, is canceled. 5. Effective Date: February 16, 2008. 6. Background. Actions establishing, amending, or revoking regulatory and non-regulatory designation of special use airspace areas, in the United States and its territories, are issued by the FAA and published throughout the year in the Federal Register or the National Flight Data Digest. These actions are generally effective on dates coinciding with the periodic issuance of the National Aeronautical Charting Office navigational charts. For ease of reference, the FAA is providing this compilation of all regulatory and non-regulatory special use airspace areas in effect and pending as of December 28, 2007. 7. Request for Information. The original of the 8 Sept., 2008 letter from LTG Campbell to then Gov. Sarah Palin would certainly be in files at the Governor’s office. I have little doubt that the 4 August, 2008 Report by MAJ Matthew Cooper was also forwarded to the governor’s office as a matter of course to justify LTG Campbell’s actions with respect to the ASDF, and to demonstrate completion of the investigation of my complaint to then Gov. Sarah Palin. Further, the 2005 Report by then LTC Robert Doehl is within the Governor’s purvey to produce as Commander-in-Chief, ASDF and as the Governor. I did not make the FOIA request at issue to DMVA. Again, at least two of the documents are undoubtedly in files from the previous administration at the Governor’s offices. Therefore, the Governor’s offices have an obligation to produce what they have. If it is the intent of the Governor to refuse production, please provide a letter stating such. -
Nazi War Crimes and Japanese Imperial Government Records Interagency Working Group
HISTORICAL MATERIALS IN THE DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER LIBRARY OF INTEREST TO THE NAZI WAR CRIMES AND JAPANESE IMPERIAL GOVERNMENT RECORDS INTERAGENCY WORKING GROUP The Dwight D. Eisenhower Library holds a large quantity of documentation relating to World War II and to the Cold War era. Information relating to war crimes committed by Nazi Germany and by the Japanese Government during World War II can be found widely scattered within the Library’s holdings. The Nazi War Crimes and Japanese Imperial Government Records Interagency Working Group is mandated to identify, locate and, as necessary, declassify records pertaining to war crimes committed by Nazi Germany and Japan. In order to assist the Interagency Working Group in carrying out this mission, the Library staff endeavored to identify historical documentation within its holdings relating to this topic. The staff conducted its search as broadly and as thoroughly as staff time, resources, and intellectual control allowed and prepared this guide to assist interested members of the public in conducting research on documents relating generally to Nazi and Japanese war crimes. The search covered post- war references to such crimes, the use of individuals who may have been involved in such crimes for intelligence or other purposes, and the handling of captured enemy assets. Therefore, while much of the documentation described herein was originated during the years when the United States was involved in World War II (1939 to 1945) one marginal document originated prior to this period can be found and numerous post-war items are also covered, especially materials concerning United States handling of captured German and Japanese assets and correspondence relating to clemency for Japanese soldiers convicted and imprisoned for war crimes. -

This report contains information about the services provided to our country and the State of Iowa during this fiscal year by the citizen-soldiers of the Iowa National Guard. The Iowa National Guard had several outstanding achievements during this past fiscal year. The most significant has been the mobilization of over 4,700 soldiers and airmen to worldwide locations to support US efforts against the global war on terrorism since September 2001. Every Iowa Guard citizen-soldier that deployed was the consummate product of our core functions. We successfully deployed combat-ready soldiers in record numbers because we achieved the high standards of our established services, products, and activities. Another major achievement was our continued high national ranking in the Army Community of Excellence National Guard category competition. We again placed in the top three states in the nation in this highly competitive program to evaluate and reward program performance excellence and continual improvement. The Iowa Guard was judged the first in the nation during 2001 and 2003. We continue to be one of the best three National Guards in the nation. -

185Th AIR REFUELING WING INCREASE in AIRCRAFT
55th Annual Siouxland/Washington Conference 185th AIR REFUELING WING INCREASE IN AIRCRAFT ISSUE The Iowa Air National Guard strategic plan seeks to ensure the 185th remains a viable unit by increasing from 8 to 12 Primary Aircraft Authorized (PAA) at the 185th Air Refueling Wing. The 185th has the available manpower, ramp space and experience to increase its tanker mission. The belief is that as Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) takes effect over the next three years, there will be additional KC-135R aircraft available for transfer to the Air National Guard. As these aircraft become available, state leadership will work with the National Guard Bureau in an effort to secure additional aircraft. Thank you for your continued support of the Air National Guard, particularly the 185th Air Refueling Wing. The Iowa Air National Guard requests your continued support in keeping our organizations viable and relevant. BACKGROUND Over the past year the 185th was awarded the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, and perhaps more importantly, the Rusty Metcalf Award for being the best Air National Guard Unit that fl ies large aircraft. There are 52 units that fl y KC-135, C-17, C-130 or C-5 aircraft; and of these, the 185th, the newest unit to fl y large aircraft, was rated number one. Additionally, the 185th is 110% manned. It has a proven track record of being able to support the mission. Many guard units are less than 100% manned. The 185th can easily recruit the necessary manpower to handle additional aircraft. The 185th completed six major Air Force inspections over the past three years and received the highest ratings of any unit in the Air National Guard.
