OCEAN CENTER The Maui Ocean Center is an aquarium and center located in Mā‘alaea. Opened in 1998 by Coral World International, the 3 acre facility is the largest tropical aquarium in the Western Hemisphere. It includes exhibits on habitats, sea turtles, shark, and humpback whales, among others.
