Public Universities: Private College Institutions: Community Colleges March 15, 2020 1700 hrs Public Universities: These universities have extended spring break until March 22. Classes will resume the following week on Monday, March 23 and will be taught online and via other alternative instructional methods. • Alcorn State University • Delta State University • Jackson State University • Mississippi State University • Mississippi University for Women • Mississippi Valley State University • University of Mississippi This university has extended spring break until March 27th. Classes will resume the following week on Monday, March 30th and will be taught online and via other alternative instructional methods. • University of Southern Mississippi Note: the MS Institute of Higher Learning (IHL) is expected to offer further operational guidelines on Sunday afternoon, March 15.
