Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK ii 2018 YILI İL ÇEVRE DURUM RAPORU ÖNSÖZ İlimiz tarih boyunca birçok uygarlığın ticaret yolları üzerinde bulunması sebebiyle her zaman önemli bir konumda olmuştur. Bu durum günümüzde de, dünya markalarını barındıran gelişmiş sanayisi, nadir rastlanan madenleri, üç üniversitesinde gerçekleştirilen bilimsel araştırma projeleri ve etkileyici tarihi mekanları, doğal sit alanları, anıt ağaçları gibi tabiat varlıklarıyla Eskişehirimizi her geçen gün daha ileriye taşımaktadır. Tüm bu özellikleri sayesinde Eskişehirimiz şimdilerde, ülkemizin en refah, en modern ve ulusal ekonomimize en çok katkıyı yapan illeri arasında ön sıralarda yer almaktadır. Doğal ve tarihi güzellikleri ile yeryüzünde başka yerde görülmeyen bir ekolojik ortama sahip olan İlimizde, bir yandan ekonomik büyümeyi desteklemek, bir yandan da çevre kalitesini artırmak; havasıyla, suyuyla, yeşil alanlarıyla, “temiz ve yaşanabilir bir çevre” oluşturmak temel hedefimizdir. Bu anlayışla İl Müdürlüğümüz tarafından, Çevre Mevzuatı kapsamındaki denetim/kontrol faaliyetlerine titizlikle devam edilmekte, özellikle, hava, su, toprak ve gürültü kirliliğinin önlenmesi, kırsal ve kentsel alanda arazinin ve doğal kaynakların en uygun şekilde kullanılması ve korunması için çalışmalar sürdürülmektedir. Ayrıca, sürdürülebilir kalkınma ilkeleri çerçevesinde atıklarımızı kontrol altına almak, gelecek nesillerimize temiz ve gelişmiş bir Türkiye ile yaşanabilir bir dünya bırakmak amacıyla, Bakanlığımız tarafından Sıfır Atık Projesi başlatılmış olup söz konusu proje İlimizde tüm kamu kurum ve kuruluşları, alışveriş merkezleri ile binin üzerinde çalışanı bulunan sanayi kuruluşlarında, etkin bir şekilde uygulanmaktadır. İlimiz bu projede pilot illerden biridir ve 1. Kademe İller arasında yer almaktadır. İlimizde 2018 yılında Sıfır Atık Projesi kapsamında 16.343 ton kağıt, 1.062 ton cam, 7.175 ton plastik, 7.097 ton metal atık toplanarak toplanan atıklarla 277.831 ağacın kesilmesi önlenmiş, 457.604 m3 su tasarrufu sağlanmış, 129.854 varil daha az petrol kullanılmış, 113 milyon kWh enerji tasarrufu i 2018 YILI İL ÇEVRE DURUM RAPORU sağlanmış, 228.766 m3 depolama alanından tasarruf edilmiş, 3 milyon kg. daha az sera gazı salınımı sağlanmıştır. Çevreyi korumak, çevre kirliliğini önlemek ve çevre sorunlarının önceliklerini ortaya çıkarmak için öncelikle çevre değerlerinin mevcut durumunun tespit edilmesi, çevreye ilişkin bilgi ve her türlü verilerin toplanması, sınıflandırılması ve verinin bilgiye dönüştürülmesi ile mümkün olacaktır. Hazırlamış olduğumuz Çevre Durum Raporunun; çevrenin korunmasında, hava, toprak, su ve gürültü kirliliğinin önlenmesinde, ilimizin doğal güzelliklerinin korunmasında, iyileştirilmesinde, bitki ve hayvan varlığının devamlılığında ve çevre bilincinin gelecek nesillere aktarılmasında önemli bir rehber olacağını umuyor raporun hazırlanmasında emeği geçen öncelikle Çevre ve Şehircilik İl Müdürlüğündeki çalışma arkadaşlarıma ve ellerindeki bilgileri bizimle paylaşan tüm kamu kurum/kuruluşlarına teşekkür ediyorum. Especially after 1950 with the increase in the destruction of historical city textures as a result of the rapid population growth and unplanned urbanization, the conservation of immovable antiquities has come to the fore and various legal regulations have been made. Conservation efforts continue today, and rehabilitation practices are continued in historical regions. It is of great importance to carry out conservation activities within the framework of sustainability in the historical cities, which contain the traces of various civilizations. Sivrihisar city, which has a deep-rooted history and preserved its traditional texture, was chosen as the study area. The method of the study consists of 5 stages as determination of the problem, literature review, on-site observation and examination, evaluation, results and recommendations.
