Children who received Communion for the first time.

Congratulations all the children in Bawnmore N.S., Coolarne N.S., Cregmore N.S., and Lackagh N.S. who received Penance and Holy Communion for the first time in our parish last month. We hope it was a very enjoyable occasion for all of you and a time of Blessing for your family. Congratulations to their parents, guardians, and teachers for helping to make the day a joyful occasion for all. We thank all the teachers for their time and support in preparing the children and also the parents for their support of the parish programme.

As next Sunday is Corpus Christi we ask parents of First Communicants to try and have their child attend Mass at 11:30am next Sunday as all the children will participate in the Corpus Christi Procession. All the children will attend in their First Holy Communion outfits and will walk in the procession to Carraig Mór – where we have Benediction asking God to Bless them, our homes, families and community. It would be great if your child could attend this procession as it is the last get together of all the 2019 First Holy Communion classes.
