We encourage you to explore our range of premium Saké, proudly sourced and imported exclusively for Saké Restaurant &Bar. Our entire Saké range is classed in the superior ‘Special Designation’ category of quality, ensuring the premium, artisanal nature of the Saké is preserved by adhering to strict production methods. Our Brewing partner is the Nakashima Brewing Company, whose signature label, Kozaemon, is handmade in the mountains for over 300 years. This boutique brewery’s dedication to its craft and the quality of its product is why we selected Nakashima Brewery as our Saké partner. Kozaemon Nakashima introduced to a handful of small, family owned breweries spread throughout Japan, all producing regionally distinct, boutique sake. They produce a selection of European inspired beers as well as utilizing innovative ingredients and techniques to produce beers the like you will have never tasted before!!! Niigata Black, Niigata-Ken, Japan 16.50 4.5% ABV, Smooth mouth feel, treacle and malt flavours Niigata Kolsch, Niigata-Ken, Japan 15.50 4.5% ABV, Golden amber ale, rich and buttery flavour Niigata White truffle, Niigata-Ken, Japan 17.50 4.5% ABV, Strong white truffle nose, this lightly carbonated ale is well balanced with malty elements, caramel and light truffle flavours on the palate Niigata Red Eye , Niigata-Ken, Japan 14.50 3.0% ABV, Earthy, sweet notes, this beer is brewed with wild tomatoes and this flavour really comes out in abundance. A full bodies mouthfeel adds to the charm of this unique drop Niigata Golden Kolsch, Niigata-Ken, Japan 16.50 7.0% ABV, Golden amber ale, fruity aroma, earthy and almost roasted nuts on the palate, sweet elements of port come through also, extremely well rounded brew Niigata Espresso, Niigata-Ken, Japan 16.50 7.0% ABV, Emporium stout, the roasted coffee bean taste is very well balanced against the chocolate and smoky tastes that are soothing but, not overpowering Niigata Lager, Niigata-Ken, Japan 14.50 4.5% ABV, Medium dry carbonated lager with a malty aroma followed by citrus and vanilla notes Niigata Le Lectier , Niigata-Ken, Japan 16.50 4.5% ABV, Wonderfully fruity ale, soft carbonation in this light to medium bodied ale, sweet apple and pear flavours are balanced with a dry finish Niigata Ice beer, Niigata-Ken, Japan 28.50 10% ABV, this ultra premium offering from Niigata utilises a technique which involves laying the brew down for 3 weeks, freezing the beer in the barrel then defrosting and allowing it to ‘’sleep’’ for 2 months. The result is a spectacular and strong sherry like thick malty beer with flavours of apple and pear. 5 CODEO BREWERY: Saitama, Japan COEDO Brewery is located in a suburb north of Tokyo, in Kawagoe, Saitama Prefecture,which has continued to be a bustling city since the Edo period during the era of Samurai’s. The brand name “COEDO” derives from their home town’s nick name and means “little Tokyo” due to the abundance of fruit and vegetables the region provides to the city. Coedo Shiro Hefeweisen, 16.50 5.5% ABV, Medium bodied wheat beer, refreshing with exquisite notes of banana and cloves Coedo Shikkoku 15.50 5% ABV, superbly balanced dark beer rich in caramel, chocolate and coffee flavours, Coedo Beniaka 16.50 7% ABV, Deep Amber in colour Beniaka is a unique brew made from sweet potatoes, caramel and soft malt notes Coedo Ruri 16.50 5% ABV, Pilsner in Ruri style offers a clean, grainy malt with a bitterness in the finish Coedo Kyara 15.50 5.5% ABV Medium bodied and crisp with caramel and orange notes balanced with moderate bitterness KIUCHI BREWERY: Ibaraki, Japan Kiuchi Brewery is a brewery in Naka, Ibaraki Pretecture, Japan. It was established in 1823 by village headman Kiuchi Gihei as a sake and sochu producer . Craft beeer production began in 1996 after a change in Japanese law governing micro brewing. A number of Kiuchi's products seek to combine European beer-making technology with traditional Japanese brewing techniques Hitachino Nest Red Rice Ale 15.50 7.0% ABV, a unique and complex blend of strawberries, malty sweetness and hop bitterness, with a touch of sake flavours Hitachino Nest White Ale, 14.50 5.0% ABV, a superb, refreshing Belgian style white ale with orange and coriander Hitachino Nest Espresso Stout Ale, 16.50 7.5% ABV, a spectacular stout with a strong espresso character, notes of vanilla and currants. Made with real coffee beans Hitachino Nest Real Ginger Ale, 15.50 8.0% ABV, an intriguing mix of fresh ginger root, malty sweetness & a citrusy flavour makes this a fantastically unique, balanced ale Hitachino Nest Dai Dai IPA, 16.50 6.2% ABV, A great original brew incorporating the rare “Fukure Mikan” orange, an amber coloured ale with caramal, toffee and citrus characteristics Hitachino Nest Japanese Classic Ale, 16.50 7.0% ABV, Medium bodied feel with sweet bitter taste. It has a unique note of cedar, complex spicy yet mild aroma and fine creamy head on top 6 Shochu This unique Japanese distilled spirit can be made from numerous ingredients, including barley, sugar cane, buckwheat, sweet potato and rice. It generally has 25% alcohol by volume sometimes rising to 45%, depending on what it has been made from. Shochu can be enjoyed in a variety of ways – on the rocks, with tea, hot or cold water, or your favourite mixer.
