(Detroit- October 31, 2011) MotorCity Casino Hotel is proud to announce “Jingle Bell Rock” starring Eddie Money, Lou Gramm, and Mickey Thomas presented by 104.3 WOMC at Sound Board on Sunday, December 11 at 7:30 p.m.
Eddie Money’s blue-collar brand of rock & roll transcends generations and continues to move audiences today. In addition to having sold more than 28 million records, Eddie’s songs have appeared in dozens of movies and television shows, and have recently been included in hit video games.
Lou Gramm is best known for his role as the lead vocalist for Foreigner. Lou co-wrote most of the songs for the band, two of which became his biggest hits. “Waiting for a Girl Like You” spent ten weeks at #2 on the 1981-1982 American Hot 100 and “ I Want to Know What Love is” was a #1 hit internationally in 1985.
Mickey Thomas is a best known for his role in Jefferson Starship and Starship. He appeared in the 1989 file “Dream a Little Dream” and recorded both the film’s title theme song and its duet version for the soundtrack.
