These visits will be restricted to 1–2 individuals at a time. Special visits will need approval from Jennifer, i.e., birthday parties or larger group gatherings. If you would like to join your loved one for a meal, please inform Christina during your initial call. Our visitors are entered into a calendar and monitored for the number of visitors in the building at a time. Everyone will go through our visit screening process. If you have not been vaccinated, you will be asked to perform a rapid covid test with us, each time you visit. If you decline the testing, you will not be allowed to visit. Everyone will be required to wear a mask during the entire visit. Visitors will be allowed to visit in the resident’s apartment and will be limited to move around the building.     CRIMINAL STANDING ORDER OF MAY 12, 2021 ESTABLISHING PROTOCOLS, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, FOR PHASE ONE OF THE MISDEMEANOR CASE PLAN AND RESUMPTION OF COMMUNITY COURT CALENDARS WHEREAS, non-detained misdemeanor cases have been continued since March 15, 2020 pursuant to the Chief Judge’s original order reducing D.C. Superior Court operations due to the COVID-19 public health emergency; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the temporary amendments to Superior Court Rules of Criminal Procedure 43, a defendant may consent to appear by telephone or videoconference in misdemeanor cases, including for arraignment, plea and sentencing; and WHEREAS, the D.C. Superior Court continues to operate primarily remotely; and WHEREAS, thousands of misdemeanor cases are currently pending; and WHEREAS, the Court has devised a plan to reinstate the Community Court calendars in a phased manner; IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Phase One of the Misdemeanor Case Plan shall proceed as follows: Starting on May 10, 2021, all non-detained misdemeanor cases shall be heard in 312-R and 313-R for citation arraignment or in 116-R for an initial status hearing. For purposes of this section, “initial status hearing” means any hearing either (a) scheduled as the first hearing following appearance in C-10 or (b) any hearing that was scheduled in a physical courtroom before March 31, 2021, which was subsequently converted to a status hearing and scheduled in 116-R. All cases for one defendant shall be set on the same date. Non-detained citation arraignments and initial status hearings will proceed as set forth in the April 26, 2021 Standing Order Establishing Protocols, Effective Immediately, For Hearings Set in Courtroom 116-R, 312-R And 313-R, all of which are fully remote.

A daily summary is available and provides an epidemiologic summary of recent COVID-19 activity in Ontario. This weekly report provides an epidemiologic summary of COVID-19 activity in Ontario over time. Highlights There are a total of 493,851 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ontario with a public health unit reported date up to May 8, 2021. For the period with a public health unit reported date between May 2 to 8, 2021 (week 18): A total of 20,717 cases were reported to public health compared to 25,001 cases the previous week (April 25 to May 1, 2021). The weekly incidence of COVID-19 continues to decrease for the third straight week with a 17.1% decrease in cases reported this week compared to the previous week. The rate of cases continues to decrease across all age groups. In particular, there was a sharp decrease in the rate of cases per 100,000 population reported among cases aged 40- 59 from 183.4 in week 17 to 148.3 in week 18. The term public health unit reported date in this document refers to the date local public health units were first notified of the case. Data corrections or updates can result in case records being removed and or updated from past reports.
