When the reissue of The Cure's landmark album Disintegration arrived earlier this year, the vinyl edition featured none of the bonus material included on the 3CD and digital editions - which is why it perhaps comes as no surprise that Entreat Plus, the expanded edition of the band's 1990 live album, now will be released as a separate 2LP set.

Originally released as a promo disc in 1990, the eight-track Entreat - recorded at London's Wembley Arena in July 1989 - was later released commercially in Europe. The expanded edition included with this year's reissue fleshes out the album to replicate a full live performance of 1989's epic Disintegration, with tracks remixed by Robert Smith - a sonic makeover that some fans have complained dampens Boris Williams' drumming.

The Cure evolved into one of the most visionary, creatively satisfying and influential groups to come of age in the 1980s. From dreamy pop to moody expressionism, their signature sound is adventurous, hypnotic, and beautifully melodic.

It all started in 1976 as 'Easy Cure', formed by Robert Smith (vocals, guitar) along with schoolmates Michael Dempsey (bass), Lol Tolhurst (drums) and local guitar hero Porl Thompson. They began writing and demoing their own songs almost immediately, playing throughout 1977 in Southern England to an ever growing army of fans. In 1978 the 'Easy' was dropped, along with Porl, and an eager trio now known simply as The Cure were quickly signed to Chris Parry's new Fiction label.

ARTIST & INFO Hometown: Orange County, CA After his hard-working punk-pop quintet Something Corporate decided to take a break in the summer of 2004, Andrew McMahon found himself writing a batch of confessional piano-driven songs that explored his return home to Orange County and his attempt to reconnect with the people he had alienated when he left to tour with Something Corporate. With the help of several musician friends (which included producer Jim Wirt and Mötley Crüe's Tommy Lee), McMahon began recording Everything in Transit under the moniker Jack's Mannequin.

In June 2005, the day he finished mastering the last song, then 22-year-old McMahon was diagnosed with leukemia. He was forced to postpone all music-related activities and immediately undergo chemotherapy, which led to a bout with pneumonia that nearly killed him. Two months later, on August 23rd, 2005, Maverick Records released the sardonic, sweetly melancholic Everything in Transit, which debuted at No. 37 on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart and was well-received by both fans and critics. After going into remission following a stem-cell transplant from his sister, McMahon was able to make a full recovery.

Degüello is the sixth studio album by American blues-rock band ZZ Top, released in 1979. Itwas produced by Bill Ham, and recorded and mixed by Terry Manning. The first cd pressing appeared in 1984.

ZZ Top an American blues rock band, formed in 1969 in Houston, Texas. Comprising of Billy Gibbons (lead vocals, guitar and harmonica), Dusty Hill (vocals, bass, and keyboards), and Frank Beard (drums and percussion), ZZ Top was ranked number 44 on VH1's "100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock.". The trio's original lineup has been intact for over 40 years. ZZ Top retained the services of the same manager, Bill Ham, until September 2006.

The bandmates' image has been as unchanging and memorable as their music. Their signature style of dress and accessories are hard to miss. Gibbons and Hill often use the same synchronized dance moves while performing onstage, and with few exceptions appear in public wearing sunglasses. The pair favor wearing similar black clothing (usually biker leathers) and various headgear which often include cowboy hats, baseball caps, and bandanas. Gibbons and Hill, who appear as twin frontmen wear chest-length untrimmed beards, although drummer Frank Beard has only a trimmed mustache. In 1984, the Gillette Company reportedly offered Gibbons and Hill $1 million each to shave their beards for a television commercial. They allegedly declined, saying "We're too ugly without 'em.

ZZ Top was inducted by Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on March 15, 2004. Cub Koda wrote, "As genuine roots musicians, they have few peers; Gibbons is one of America's finest blues guitarists working in the hard rock idiom ... while Hill and Beard provide the ultimate rhythm section support."
