These choices make it easy for visitors to venture out of Waikīkī to leisurely shop at the world’s largest open-air shopping center. With more than 350 stores and 160 dining options, Ala Moana Center is a shopper’s paradise that leaves visitors and locals wanting to return again and again. Waikiki Trolley’s Pink Line “Shopping Trolley” The Waikiki Trolley’s Pink Line “Shopping Trolley” offers travelers transportation from Waikīkī to Ala Moana Center and runs every 10-12 minutes, Monday through Saturday from 9:10 a.m. to 9:59 p.m., and on Sundays and holidays from 9:10 a.m. to 8:09 p.m. The Ala Moana Center trolley is available for passenger pick-up and drop-off at the Ala Moana Boulevard depot and passenger drop-off only at the Kona Street depot. The Pink Line Trolley makes regular stops at many popular Waikīkī hotels. One-way tickets cost $2 per person. One-day, four-day and seven-day Pink Line Trolley passes are available. TheBus The City & County of Honolulu provides an island-wide bus transportation system. When travelling from Waikīkī to Ala Moana Center, travelers can take the 8, 19, 20, 23, 24, 42 or Route E. When traveling from the North Shore, travelers can take the 52 or 60. Travelers heading from the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) can take either the 19 or 20 bus routes. TheBus drops-off and picks-up passengers at the Kona Street Transit Center on the north side of Ala Moana Center as well as Ala Moana Boulevard located on the south side. Adult one-way fares cost $2.75 and youth one-way fares cost $1.25. Rideshare Designated zones for ridesharing services are located on Street Level 1, Diamond Head Wing fronting Paris Miki, on Mall Level 2, Ewa Wing near Shabuya, and on Mall Level 2, Mauka Wing behind Crazy Shirts. Visitor Concierge Services by Roberts Hawaii Located on Street Level 1, Ewa Wing, the Visitor Concierge Services lounge offers a range of convenient amenities, including luggage storage, personal lockers, complimentary wi-fi, and concierge services to book tours, activities or dining reservations. For guests with a reservation on Roberts Hawaii’s airport-Waikiki shuttle, there’s no additional cost to access the lounge amenities. The Visitor Concierge Services lounge is also available on a walk-in basis. Prices for Roberts Hawaii’s shuttle transportation between the airport and Waikiki begin at $17 per person. Shuttle transportation from Ala Moana Center to either Waikiki or the Honolulu International Airport is also available for $10 per person. Additional transportation options include taxi cabs, rental cars, mopeds and bicycles. Electric vehicle drivers have access to 12 charging stations surrounding the property. With an endless list of transportation options, visitors staying at all ends of the island will find traveling to Ala Moana Center a breeze. State Capitol, Teleconference S.B. 756, S.D. 2, H.D. 1 RELATING TO ELECTRIC VEHICLES House Committee on Consumer Protection & Commerce The Department of Transportation (DOT) supports S.D. 756, S.D. 2 , H.D. 1 which authorizes each county to adopt ordinances to enforce Section 291-71, Hawaii Revised Statutes, including the establishment of penalties for failure to comply with its requirements or make reasonable efforts to maintain electric vehicle charging stations in working order. The Highways division is updating and converting its light duty fleet to meet the aggressive clean energy goals set by the State. Having more charging areas available will support the efforts of the State and private owners to convert to electric vehicles.
