Subject: Instructor will be images of professional illustrations for student to learn from and duplicate. Experienced students may bring their own from previous classes or private work to replicate in ink. Any questions about subject matter may be addressed with the instructor prior to class time.

If students which to paint their inked subjects, they are required to bring:

#20 Watercolor Paints (Select from Daniel Smith OR Winsor Newton, but not both): Daniel Smith Hansa Yellow Medium, Quin Burnt Orange, New Gamboge, Quin Rose, Pyrrol Red, Phthalo Blue Green Shade, and Phthalo Blue Red Shade, Cobalt Teal (or WN Cerulean Blue); Or, Winsor Newton Winsor Yellow, New Gamboge, Scarlet Lake, Permanent Rose, Cerulean Blue, Winsor Blue GS, Winsor Blue RS, Burnt Sienna; or whatever students have.

#21. Watercolor Brushes: Two Each of Raphael Sable Brush #8404 Sizes #5, #3, #2, #1, #0. In the alternative, two each of the Escoda Versatil Round #6, #4, #2, #1, #0. Small mixing brushes.
