The Open Garden was by invite to friends and family with 50 guests in attendance. They had an array of delicious cakes for morning and afternoon teas and scrumptious mixed sandwiches for lunch. 19 The Cornflower

The Blue MND Cornflower is the national symbol of hope for Motor Neurone Disease. It may have a fragile appearance but it is hardy in nature which is representative of the remarkable strength people living with MND have.

We live in hope that we will find a cure for Motor Neurone Disease.

MND WESTERN AUSTRALIA SHARES RESOURCES WITH MND SOUTH AUSTRALIA MNDAWA, under the guidence of previous Executive Officer Maeve Egan, built a database specific to the Association’s needs and Health Department requirements. This database has made a considerable difference and noticable improvement for the MND Advisors. MND South Australia approached MNDAWA to see whether we could share these resources of which we willingly obliged. Database developer, Tony Williams, built South Australia a database similar to that of WA which has also assisted their team greatly with the management of their services. Most recently we have also shared our database manual wuth South Australia that was completed by volunteer Dr Sue Colyer who gave many hours to complete the document. This collaboration between the State Associations highlights the importance of collborating and sharing information for the greater cause of people living with MND.
