    About the International Wushu Federation (IWUF) The International Wushu Federation (IWUF), established on October 3rd, 1990, is the international federation (IF) which governs wushu in all its forms worldwide. Currently, the IWUF has 146 members, across 5 continental federations. The IWUF is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), and is a member of ARISF and SportAccord. IWUF President Zaiquing Yu is also in his second term as IOC Vice-President. The IWUF is devoted to the spread and development of wushu throughout the world, to enrich people’s lives by making them healthier, both mentally and physically, and to promote friendship and understanding between all people worldwide through the spirit of sport. IWUF’s official Image Ambassador is Jet Li, former star member of the Beijing Wushu Team, and world-renowned martial arts film actor. As a coalition of over 400 youth sports organizations, we are calling upon your leadership to provide economic stability to the youth sports sector which has been dramatically disrupted by this crisis.
