Wrestling Report.Com Top 30 Stutzman has guided the Huskies to a record of 80-53-1 in his seven Team Rankings (NCAA tournament scoring) seasons ranking him 3rd all-time in career wins. He has coached three 1) Penn State Nittany Lions – 122 pts NCAA Division I All-Americans, six Eastern Wrestling League (EWL) 2) Iowa Hawkeyes – 105 pts champions, 66 EWL place winners and 27 NCAA Division I national 3) Oklahoma State Cowboys – 102 pts qualifiers. 4) Minnesota Golden Gophers – 98 pts 5) Ohio State Buckeyes – 78 pts Twice Stutzman has earned the EWL Coach of the Year honor as 6) Illinois Fighting Illini – 71 pts well as producing the 2007 EWL and PSAC Freshman of the Year, 7) Missouri Tigers – 65 pts the 2009 EWL Championship’s Outstanding Wrestler and the 2011 8) Central Michigan Chippewas – 62 pts PSAC Freshman of the Year. 9) Oregon State Beavers – 48 pts 10) Cornell Big Red – 47 pts A year ago Stutzman led the Huskies to a record of 16-7 and finished 11) Oklahoma Sooners – 44 pts 2nd at the PSAC Championships as well as 5th at the EWL Champion- 12) Virginia Tech Hokies – 42 pts ships. Before that, the last home dual match that the Pride dropped was on November 29, 2003 when the ninth-ranked Cornhuskers of Nebraska downed Hofstra, 30-10. HOFSTRA THIS YEAR: Hofstra, in its 60th season of wrestling, is 3-3 on the year with wins over #25 Bloomsburg, 2007-08 HOFSTRA unranked Bucknell and #25 Harvard, and losses to #7 Missouri, UNIVERSITY WRESTLING #10 Penn State and #3 Oklahoma State.
