The Oxfordshire County Council is currently Conservative-led – which is why we have seen devastating cuts to children’s centres and homelessness support, and privatisations. However, our 14 Labour County councillors fght hard against these policies, and in the next county election we hope to force the Tories out.

Parts of the local party outside of Oxford are covered by two other district councils, Cherwell and the Vale of the White Horse. We continue to work hard to get Labour councillors elected in these councils. Branches select candidates to stand for city, district and county councils, and elected Labour councillors report back to their branches.
