The Board wishes to have the successful candidate assume the responsibilities of the position on July 1, 2016. McPherson & Jacobson L.L.C. Executive Recruitment and Development has been engaged as the consultant in a search for outstanding candidates. They will assist the Board of Education in identifying and screening the candidates. Qualifications The candidate must have the background, skills and abilities essential for excellence in educational leadership. The Board has identified the following desired characteristics: Possesses strong written and oral communication skills to inform and promote the school district. Proven ability to create and manage a budget through the implementation of sound fiscal practices. Increase academic rigor and student achievement with focused professional development. Provide leadership to achieve district goals and vision, influence staff to grow and lead at their level.
