Lavastida raced home and just beat the tag to put the Captains on top 1-0. Lavastida impacted the game in the seventh with an RBI-double that plated Victor Great Lakes (Los Angeles - NL) 36 30 0.5 Nova and Will Brennan. With the Captains up 4-1, Nathan Ocker allowed one run in the eighth but Jerson Ramirez tossed a scoreless ninth to seal the 4-2 win.
