Lake County took the lead in the top of the fourth inning. Bryan Lavastida led off with a walk, then went to third on a José Tena double. With two outs, a pitch bounced away from Lugnuts’ catcher Drew Millas a few feet East Division W L GB in front of home plate. Lavastida raced home and just beat the tag to put the Captains on top 1-0. In the sixth inning Lavastida scored again on a Joe Naranjo groundout before Lansing added a run on a Jordan Diaz RBI-double in Dayton (Cincinnati) 36 29 -- the bottom half of the inning. Lavastida impacted the game in the seventh with an RBI-double that plated Victor Great Lakes (Los Angeles - NL) 36 30 0.5 Nova and Will Brennan. With the Captains up 4-1, Nathan Ocker allowed one run in the eighth but Jerson Ramirez tossed a scoreless ninth to seal the 4-2 win.
