MAJOR REFURBISHMENT OF CONFERENCE & BANQUETING SUITE

This summer we were delighted to host ‘The Stadium Spectacular,’ an event which saw thousands of Kirklees children take part in a musical extravaganza in a triple celebration to mark the Olympic Games, the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, and 20 years of service to the community from Kirklees Music School.

Annual Partners FORUM A Success!

On 11th October we held our annual Partners Forum, in association with Chadwick Lawrence. This year we were delighted to welcome the co-founding Director of Mission Performance, Christiaan McLeod as our guest speaker. Christiaan’s leadership experience includes a 10 year career in the Royal Marines. He also lead the winning team in the first ever race to the North Pole in 2003 and again with fellow Mission Director Rob Lewis in 2004 for a BBC documentary. His theme at our Forum was teamwork in challenging enviroments.

ANNUAL BUSINESS AWARDS RETURN

The annual event on 8th November was hosted by BBC Look North presenter Harry Gration. The keynote speaker, Gerald Ratner, the Chairman and Chief Executive of Ratners Group opened the awards and gave a riveting account of how he rebounded from a raft of negative publicity and business failure to enjoy new business success.
