Dear Ms. Dr. Neumann,

We thank you for your questions relating to the A400M Programme. Our CEO Guillaume Faury has asked me as Head of the A400M Programme to respond to you.

Airbus provides in-service-support to the Nations participating in the A400M Programme (Belgium/Luxembourg, France, Germany, Spain, Turkey and the United Kingdom) under the global support contract with the Nations represented by OCCAR in strict compliance with its contractual obligations, the laws of the Nations and European law. Due to the confidentiality provisions of this contract, the disclosure of any content by Airbus would be subject to the prior approval by OCCAR and Nations.

This in-service-support to the A400M aircraft operated by the Nations is provided by Airbus teams located at the respective main operating bases, which is Kayseri for the Turkish A400M fleet where Airbus provides technical and logistic maintenance support. Airbus is not involved in the planning or the performance of the missions by Turkey as this sovereign task has not been delegated.

For the A400M Programme, all required export licences for providing maintenance support to the A400M fleet of the Nations, including Turkey, have been granted by the relevant national authorities of the Nations.
