Special Hospital Payments Provisions (FY2020 Appropriation Act - Public Act 67 of 2019) Special Hospital Payments Provisions (FY2020 Appropriation Act - Public Act 67 of 2019) August 1, 2020 Sec. 1700. (1) By December 1 of the current fiscal year, the department shall report to the senate and house appropriations subcommittees on the department budget, the senate and house fiscal agencies, and the state budget office on the distribution of funding provided, and the net benefit if the special hospital payment is not financed with general fund/general purpose revenue, to each eligible hospital during the previous fiscal year from the following special hospital payments: (a) DSH, separated out by unique DSH pool. (b) GME. (c) Special rural hospital payments provided under section 1802(2) of this part. (d) Lump-sum payments to rural hospitals for obstetrical care provided under section 1802(1) of this part.
