Stamford High School Old Girls’ e-Newsletter Issue 28: September 2016 Circulation: 1,800 The start of a new academic year is, for all those who live and breathe the academic calendar, be it parent, student or staff, a new beginning. I am immensely proud that this Autumn I find myself back at SES in the latter category, having started my time here at Stamford Junior School in 1999 and subsequently continuing to the High School for my Lower School years. Officially, I am Alumni Relations Manager at SES, and look forward to meeting all alumni of the Schools in the coming months. This issue has been overdue for some time, and although I apologise for the inordinate delay, due to a hectic summer schedule, I hope that this issue has been worth the wait! I am delighted, therefore, to deliver this issue of the SHS Old Girls’ e-Newsletter to you brimming with updates from Old Girls as far afield as Rio and as close to home as Stamford itself, alongside announcements with our congratulations to those who mark celebrations recently. This month, we are delighted to share with you our ‘Announcements’ page, which I hope will become a permanent feature for the Old Girls’ e-Newsletter. I hope you will continue to tell us your wonderful news from wherever you may be based now, as we would love to share your stories with our community. I hope that there are many more to come.
