2008 Marywood University, Adjunct Instructor, Scranton, Pa. Advertising and Illustrative Photography I and II, Basic Photography Classes were designed to teach both photography and graphic design majors the principles of advertising photography through the use of studio and environmental lighting in conjunction with Digital cameras and large format view cameras. Basic Photography emphasis is teaching the fundamentals of black & white photography, technique and aesthetics, process- ing and printing fi lm.

Work experience

1986-Present Freelance Photographer Creative advertising and catalogue photography focused on crafting crisp, elegant and contemporary images of product still life, interiors and people. Fully versed in all formats of fi lm; 35mm, medium format and large format, digital capture and digital printing - including piezography inks, color and black & white photography. Expert experience in all manner of studio lighting from small still life to large room sets. Clients include: Waterford Crystal, Running Press, New Ravenna, International Spice Co.

2004-2006 The Shadowlight Group, Advertising Photographer Interior set and product photographer responsible for creating stunning advertising images with great attention paid to captur- ing detail, lighting and color accuracy of product. Initially shot large format fi lm photography. Studio then evolved into com- pletely digital environment (phase one with Mac). Photographed kitchen cabinetry, appliances, bathroom fi xtures and fl ooring for the following national manufacturing compa- nies including: KraftMaid Cabinets, Silestone, Dupont, Behr Paint, Congolium, Lowe’s, Home Depot, MasterBrand Cabinets, Liberty Hardware, Tech Lighting. Photography has appeared in Dwell Magazine and various other home design periodicals.

2001-2004 Sky Visual Communications, Partner, Philadelphia, PA. Design team combining Graphic Design, Photography and Creative Art Direction. Clients include: Waterford Crystal, La Maison Cheese.

1996- 2002 The Franklin Mint Corporation, Senior Advertising Photographer, Franklin Center, PA. Worked closely with art directors and marketing department from concept to fi nished piece. Photographed jewelry, porcelain dolls, bronze sculptures, die cast cars, Franklin Mint Faberge Eggs, high-end chess sets of various woods and metals. Pho- tography created on 4x5 fi lm in camera through use the of multiple cameras and in camera masking to achieve Photoshop effects. Equipment used: Sinar View Cameras, Hasselblad Cameras, Broncolor Lighting, Mac computers with Adobe photoshop, quark express, fl excolor. Committee member for Renaissance Art Show.

1995-1996 Clover/Strawbridge & Clothier, Senior Photographer, Philadelphia, PA. Advertising photography. Product still life – soft goods, hard lines. Products included appliances, jewelry, house wares, and soft goods. Worked closely with art directors. Time sensitive deadlines. Responsible for accuracy of color, exposures and product image. Equipment used: 4x5 Horseman Cameras, Speedotron strobes.

1988 1992 Clover/Strawbridge & Clothier, Senior Photographer, Philadelphia, PA. Product/still life and fashion photography. Responsible for arranging fashion shoots – scouting locations, booking models, organizing assistants and equipment. Products included: appliances, jewelry, house wares, and soft goods. Responsible for helping to bring creative direction to the studio. Equipment used: 4x5 Horseman Cameras, Hasselblad Cameras, Speedotron strobes.

1987-1988 JDN Photography, Photography Assistant, New York - Los Angeles based architectural and interior photography group. Assisted interior photographer on location shoots. Packed equipment for shoot, set lights, set gels, ran electricity for lights.
