Most famous for his many stints in the rock band UFO, Michael Schenker struck out on his own at the beginning of a new decade; the 1980’s. In 1981, his band hit the road touring relentlessly in support of his debut album.

The recording for this DVD was done for the German TV show Rockpalast and Michael ’s band consisted of on vocals, on bass, on keyboards and guitars and the iconic on drums.

The German crowd welcomed home their native son with open arms and Schenker did not disappoint, as he delivered a set list of his solo tunes along with several UFO classics.

On the DVD he looks every bit the youthful, good looking guitar God that he was made out to be. Some of his band mates are dressed in, what we shall say are dated outfits, but VISIT US ON Michael, draped in black leather and brandishing a Flying V guitar looks majestic and FACEBOOK powerful.

While the rest of the band executes each song well, the star of the show is Schenker as he dazzles the mind with is powerful riffs and his extended guitar solos.

The highlights of the show are, of course the UFO classics “Lights Out,” “Rock Bottom” and “Doctor Doctor” yet there are many fantastic moments in other tunes including “Cry for the Join Us On Facebook Nations,” “Armed and Ready,” “Into the Arena” and “Lost Horizons.”
