    2017 Season Review Paul Hampton For the first time in Castleford’s 91 year history as a senior club they finished at the top of the table. After the regular season of 23 games the twelve team league split into the Super 8s at the top, with the bottom four joining with the Championship top four in the Qualifiers to determine promotion and relegation. Castleford finished the regular season at the top, ten points clear and maintained the lead to the end of the season. They were so far in front that the shield was awarded to them after only three games of the seven game series as they could not be caught. The number of girls playing has shown a marked increase. The Carnegie Champion Schools tournament once again exceeded the expectation of everyone, indicating what a superb tournament it is. The finals - held at the new venue of Hillingdon Sports and Leisure Centre - were wonderful and we were lucky enough to have good weather. The event went like clockwork, due to the great number of volunteers who knew their tasks and went about them with confidence.     Décembre 2019 DRAGONS CATALANS : LE RECRUTEMENT BIENTOT TERMINE ? Le coach Steve Mac Namara a annoncé l’effectif des Dracs et les numéros de squad pour la nouvelle saison 2020. Quatre recrues intègrent l’effectif cette saison. James Maloney portera le numéro 6, Joel Tomkins portera le n°12, Tom Davies aura le n°16 et Josh Drinkwater héritera du n°7. A la date ils sont 31 à courir régulièrement, à pousser en salle de musculation ou à travailler le cardio et le plaquage en salle de lutte. La volonté de l’entraîneur en chef, Steve McNamara, a été de gonfler son staff en y incorporant deux personnes, avec un adjoint supplémentaire - Eamon O’Carroll - et un spécialiste de la réathlétisation - Jonathan Jones.
