Below are quotes from NASCAR on FOX analysts Darrell Waltrip and Larry McReynolds on the week’s headlines and the race ahead, as well as the full NASCAR on FOX programming schedule from Richmond: LARRY MCREYNOLDS ON THE STRENGTH OF KEVIN HARVICK’S TEAM: “I view Harvick’s two wins as a bit of an artificial stat. While the box score is the box score, considering the way they were running at Las Vegas, Bristol and Texas before they had mechanical issues, he could have four or five wins to his credit. They need to make sure mechanical issues don’t continue to haunt them, but the No. 4 team has a leg up on the competition at the moment.” DARRELL WALTRIP ON THE STRENGTH OF HARVICK’S TEAM: “They’re almost in a league of their own. Any team will tell you how fast that No. 4 car is, whether in a race or a test. Although they’ve had mechanical issues, they’ve shown incredible speed. Harvick and Rodney Childers are the perfect couple right now. I think Harvick is on a mission to prove he made the right move by leaving Richard Childress Racing, and his team is focused and committed.” MCREYNOLDS ON THE NEXT DRIVER MOST LIKELY TO GET HIS SECOND WIN OF THE SEASON: “The obvious answer would be Kyle Busch considering we’re headed to Richmond, where he runs well and has won four times. But Joey Logano is my dark horse because he’s fast every week, although his spot in the point standings doesn’t exactly reflect this. Without a couple of mechanical issues this year, we could be talking about Logano with two or four wins.” WALTRIP ON THE NEXT DRIVER MOST LIKELY TO GET HIS SECOND WIN OF THE SEASON: “With five top-three finishes in eight races, Dale Earnhardt Jr. has had consistency. He could have won Las Vegas if he hadn’t run out of gas. He finished second at Darlington, so I look for him to get another win. Kyle Busch could get it done this weekend at Richmond, too.” MCREYNOLDS ON WHETHER CHASE ELLIOTT’S SUCCESS COULD CHANGE JEFF GORDON’S CAREER TIMELINE AT HENDRICK MOTORSPORTS: “I find it hard to believe anything anyone else does could change Gordon’s timeline, but I don’t know what kind of agreement he and Rick Hendrick have. For Gordon and Chase Elliott’s sake, no matter if Chase wins 15 races or the championship this year, my hope is he will run the full two years in the Nationwide Series because he will go through some down periods. What tests a driver is when things aren’t going well -- not when they’re going well. Plus, Gordon still is competitive and I wouldn’t rule him out for the championship this year.” MCREYNOLDS ON WHETHER AUSTIN DILLON’S ROOKIE SEASON HAS BEEN OVERSHADOWED BY KYLE LARSON’S: “Austin Dillon absolutely has been overlooked a bit because of Kyle Larson’s quick success. In most seasons, when a rookie has six top-20 finishes in eight races and finishes on the lead lap, he’d be talked about a lot. But with the way Kyle has come on the last four races, plus a second-place finish at Auto Club Speedway, he has overshadowed Dillon. In most seasons, though, what Dillon has done is unbelievable.” WALTRIP ON WHETHER DILLON’S ROOKIE SEASON HAS BEEN OVERSHADOWED BY LARSON’S: “The difference is nobody had any expectations for Kyle Larson and didn’t necessarily expect him to do what he has done. We knew he was good but he had such limited experience, so he is truly surprising. Austin felt he had high expectations driving the No. 3 car. Austin is finishing all the laps, is high in the points and is consistent, but just hasn’t had the outstanding performances Kyle has. But all that could pay dividends before the year is over.” MCREYNOLDS ON HIS PICK TO WIN AT RICHMOND: “It’s hard to bet against Joe Gibbs Racing because Denny Hamlin has won there twice and Kyle Busch four times. But we can’t take our eye off of Carl Edwards, who was the last to win there. Plus, he won at Phoenix earlier this year, a similar track and with the new rules package. Kevin Harvick also runs well at Richmond. But at the end of the day, it’s hard to bet against Kyle Busch at Richmond.” NASCAR ON FOX, FOX SPORTS 1 & FOX SPORTS 2 AT RICHMOND INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY PROGRAMMING SCHEDULE *All times live unless otherwise indicated & subject to change Friday, April 25 NASCAR SPRINT CUP SERIES PRACTICE (10:00 AM-12:00 PM ET) (FOX Sports 1) NASCAR LIVE (12:00-1:00 PM ET) (FOX Sports 1) NASCAR SPRINT CUP SERIES FINAL PRACTICE (1:00-2:00 PM ET) (FOX Sports 1) THE DAY: REMEMBERING DALE EARNHARDT (2:00-3:00 PM ET) (FOX SPORTS 1; encore) NASCAR SPRINT CUP SERIES QUALIFYING (5:00-6:30 PM ET) (FOX Sports 1) Saturday, April 26 NASCAR RACEDAY (5:30-6:30 PM ET) (FOX Sports 2) FOX NASCAR SATURDAY PRERACE SHOW (6:30-7:00 PM ET) (FOX) NASCAR SPRINT CUP SERIES RACING FROM RICHMOND (7:00 PM ET) (FOX) NASCAR VICTORY LANE (11:30 PM-12:00 AM ET; delayed) (FOX Sports 1) .
