Southwark Council hereby GIVES NOTICE that it proposes to make the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 63 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 19841, as amended. 2. The conservation officer sends her apologies for being unable to attend the meeting. 2. WDC employs one conservation specialist within the planning department. Since the last meeting, the conservation officer has reduced her working hours to 0.8 FTE. Usual working days are Tues-Fri. 3. The total number of listed buildings within the district is now 1239. The most recent additions to the list are the WWI war memorials located at St Lawrence’s Church West Wycombe and Holy Trinity Church Amersham Road Hazlemere, both at Grade II. 4. There are a further 79 buildings identified on the Local List. In addition, there are 71 conservation areas. Within the last year, character appraisals have been adopted for Alscot, Horsendon and Riversdale and Hedsor Road conservation areas. 6. Over the course of the summer, the planning department as a whole has been very involved with the Examination in Public of the draft Wycombe Local Plan. Hearings have now been held on all the strategic and development management policies and on most of the proposed site allocations. It is anticipated that the final hearings will have been completed by the end of September, with the Inspectors Report expected in 2019. 7.
