2014-15 Preseason All-NCHC Team 2014-15 NCHC Players of the Month he National Collegiate Hockey Conference revealed its Preseason Month Player Rookie TAll-Conference Team Wednesday, Sept. 24. The conference’s October inaugural Preseason All-Conference Team (a team was not selected November last season) was voted on by local media members from each school, along with select national media members. December Five NCHC teams are represented on the six-man NCHC Preseason January All-Conference Team, led by two from Miami in senior forward Austin February Czarnik and junior forward Riley Barber. The lone unanimous selection March on the team is North Dakota junior goaltender Zane McIntyre, who was listed on all 25 ballots. Rounding out the group of forwards is St. Cloud State junior forward Jonny Brodzinski, while the defensive National Accolades for NCHC Teams/Players pair of Denver senior Joey LaLeggia and Colorado College sophomore NCAA Three Stars of the Week Jaccob Slavin complete the team. Freshman forward Jared Thomas then got in on the action with his first career goal coming on the power play midway through the period to double the Bulldogs lead. Toninato set up the goal along with fellow sophomore Alex Iafallo, who had two assists on the night. UMD then sealed the win with a pair of empty-net goals, both un- assisted, the first from Thomas with less than five minutes to go for his second goal of the night, while junior forward Tony Cameranesi scored his short-handed with 12 ticks to go to lock up the 6-2 victory.
