. Water saving following installation of metering . BREEAM ‘Excellent’ on new builds . Plans for an AD plant . Plans for Centre for excellence in environmental teaching . Preparing for ISO14001:2015 audit

3. EAUC update . FE guide ‘Sorted’ refreshed & looking for case studies . FE quarterly newsletters published . Conference bookings open (25th – 27th May 2016). Members to co-ordinate travel and hotel arrangements . Biodiversity guide launch . Green Gown started in France . Five year business plan ends in 2016 & looking at three year plan instead (for two years plus one year to review) . Organisational structures review to be launched at conference including different ways to engage senior managers

. Divestment – no fossil fuel companies sponsoring conference. Call out for Ethical Investment policies . Green Scorecard – launched at AUDE conference (4th April 2016) & currently being piloted. . University League – EAUC seeking clarity on what is intended . Intern looking at possibly developing LIFE as benchmarking tool

5. AOB i) NOCS – looking for suitable leadership for sustainability course for senior manager (and fits with revised ISO14001:2015 standard requirement). CS to contact EAUC for information ii) UoS – Informed group about work by Eastleigh BC on preparing package of work to support energy saving measures. MJ to ask contact to attend next meeting. iii) Sparsholt – use Inspire to manage and validate utility bills iv) Winchester – VC wrote article in Times Higher about ensuring climate change included across curricula. MJ to circulate link to article.

6. Date of next meeting

10th May 2016 at University of Winchester, 10am – 1500 University of Southampton to host in August 2016. LP to advise on possible dates.
