As the holiday season approaches we will be having a bunch of new activities and fun here at Spring Hills Hunter’s Faye Hoyte Creek. Last month we had a great Halloween filled calendar with Ghouls Business Office Manager and Goblins Drum Circle, a Witches Brew Cocktail, and a healthy Candy Corn Parfait Party! Andrew Sackaris Director of Resident Care Here are some fun facts to ring in the Thanksgiving season: Angela Buckles • The Plymouth Pilgrims were the first to celebrate the Thanksgiving. Ronnie Somersall • They celebrated the first Thanksgiving Day at Plymouth, Massachusetts. Community Relations Counselor • The Wampanoag Indians were the people who taught the Pilgrims how to cultivate the land. Chelsea Wegener • The first Thanksgiving celebration lasted three days.
