Students should check email and classroom announcements regularly for information about partner school early releases, activities, and graduation. CAFETERIA The cafeteria offers nutritious breakfast and lunches to students and staff each day school is in session. Lunch menus are published on the district’s website at www.EHOVE.net. In order to ensure that every student has a meal, once a student has three (3) meal charges they receive an alternate meal that meets National School Lunch Program guidelines at the same cost until their lunch account has been paid. No food or drink is to be taken out of the cafeteria or consumed in classrooms or labs. Menus follow nutritional guidelines established by the United States Department of Agriculture. These guidelines allow the school to keep breakfast and lunch costs low and provide eligible students with free or reduced cost lunches. Applications for the free and reduced meal program are available in the cafeteria, high school office, or at www.EHOVE.net. DISTRIBUTION OF MATERIALS School-sponsored flyers and promotional materials may only be posted with permission from the principal. ELECTRONIC SURVEILLANCE EHOVE Career Center uses electronic surveillance systems to monitor activity on school property and in school vehicles in an effort to protect the health, welfare, and safety of its students and staff and to maintain order and discipline on school property. Surveillance cameras may be used both inside and outside of buildings to assist in the security of students, staff and property. Cameras are not positioned in areas where individuals have a reasonable expectation of privacy. Electronic surveillance recordings may be used as evidence in any disciplinary proceedings, administrative proceedings or criminal proceedings, and may become part of a student’s education record, subject to Board rules, regulations, and policies and applicable law. FIELD TRIPS Students have the opportunity to participate in school-sponsored field trips.

  • Ohio Administrative Code Rule 3341-1-03 Emergency Cancellation, Delay and Closing Policy and Procedures
Ohio Administrative Code Rule 3341-1-03 Emergency cancellation, delay and closing policy and procedures. Effective: March 16, 2015 (A) Policy statement and purpose This policy provides a framework and protocol for modifying normal operations during seasonal inclement weather, health hazards, or other emergencies. The development of this policy and these procedures have been guided by the belief that the university is a community and as such is normally open during periods of ordinary seasonal inclement weather or other minor disruptions. The university equally values the safety and lives of all students, faculty and staff, while recognizing that we must maintain the effective operation of the university during inclement weather and other disruptions when possible. Faculty, staff and students must assume responsibility for their own health and safety, as well as for their class and work responsibilities. While this frequently requires a delicate balance, each individual must be the ultimate decision-maker of whether to travel to or across one of our campuses under varying conditions. (B) Introduction An emergency closing of Bowling Green state university (BGSU) will be implemented only under severe and extreme circumstances. Every effort will be made to maintain classes and all employees are expected to report to work unless they specifically hear otherwise. However, when health or safety conditions and/or a declared state of emergency due to other factors warrants, the university may delay the opening of the university or specific offices and areas, cancel some or all classes and/or activities, or implement an emergency closing of all or part of the university.

C M Vol. 37, No. 24 “For The Buckeye Fan Who Needs To Know More” August 2018 Y Back In A Bit K Meyer Retained By Ohio State, But Suspended 3 Games By TIM MOODY Buckeye Sports Bulletin Editor When Ohio State opens the season against Oregon State on Sept. 1, Urban Meyer won’t be on the Ohio Stadium side- lines. He won’t be there a week later when the Buckeyes take on Rutgers in the Big Ten opener, either. And a week after that, Meyer won’t be making the trip to Arlington, Texas, with his team for a prime-time showdown with TCU. Three games – that’s the main point of the punishment Meyer received from the university for mishandling the employment of former wide receivers coach Zach Smith, who was fired July 23. Though Meyer is held from his position as head coach for the first three games, he’ll otherwise be able to return to his regular coaching duties starting Sept. 2 – the day after the Buckeyes kick off their 2018 slate against the Beavers. Meyer will also forgo six weeks of pay in addition to his suspension, while athletic director Gene Smith will be sus- pended without pay from Aug. 31 through Sept. 16 – dates that include each of those first three games. The two most prominent fig- ures in the Ohio State athletic department – and two of the most TIM MOODY prominent figures in the sport SIDELINED – Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer was suspended by the university Aug.
