Why Asceticism? Many of us may not even know what the word “asceticism” means. We may have mistaken impressions or negative associations around asceticism. Yet, much of our Christian practice is ascetic, and that is a good thing. In this session, we define asceticism, and see it in its , positive and life transforming light.

I Can’t Eat What??? can be confusing and the rules can be unclear. We will break down the fasting rules of the , practical ways to apply them, and most importantly, get OR HODOXY down to why we fast. Want a hint? It’s about a lot more than what we eat!
