Ref : 1) ToR received from MOEF&CC, New Delhi vide ref.no. F.No J-11011/66/2014-IA II(I), 27 th June 2014. 2) MoEF&CC’s OM ref.no. J-11013/41/2006-IA-II(I)(Part), dated 8 th October, 2014. Dear Sir As per the ToR received from MOEF& CC, vide letter reference no F.No J-11011/66/2014-IA II(I), dated 27 th June 2014, the validity of the ToR given as per point no. 82, given below, is 2 years i.e., which is valid up to 26 th June, 2016. We have already completed the field studies, prepared EIA-EMP reports and submitted the same to the State Pollution Control Board (SPCB), Odisha, requesting for organizing Public Consultation vide reference no. 691/EE/59/420-421 , dated 25/05/2014. Copy of our letter addressed to SPCB is enclosed at Annexure-1 for kind ready reference. However, SPCB and the District Administration could not complete the Public Consultation Process, till date. The recent letter of ADM, Sundargarh District, Odisha addressed to the Municipal Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Rourkela asking him to suggest the venue, vide ref. no. 91, dated 18/02/2016 is also enclosed at Annexure-2 for your kind ready reference. In view of the above and as MoEF&CC has already changed the ToR validity for “Other Projects” to 3 years, vide point no. 2 of OM ref. no. J-11013/41/2006-IA-II(I)(Part), dated 8 th October, 2014, we would like to request your good office to kindly take necessary action for amending point no. 82 of our ToR by changing the ToR validity to 3 years against 2 years mentioned. 1. I will be coming to Rourkela from outside Odisha, what should I do? After your arrival at Rourkela, you are required to report at the Covid-19 help desk in the Biju Patnaik University of Technology campus (Address: Annexure 1). After mandatory health check-up, if you are found to be symptomatic for COVID-19, the swab test will be conducted and you will be required to stay in government quarantine (paid/non-paid as per your preference) till the results are ready. If you are without symptoms, you will be allowed to stay in home quarantine for 14 days depending upon the availability of a separate bedroom and separate bathroom in your house. If such facilities are not available at your home, you will be required to stay in government quarantine (paid/non-paid as per your preference). The list of paid quarantine centres is attached at the end (Annexure 2). It must be noted that home quarantine shall be allowed only in urban area i.e. areas falling under Rourkela Municipal Corporation and Industrial Township. There is no provision for home quarantine in rural areas. 2. September, 2015 Japan International Cooperation Agency Joint Venture of SECURITY JAPAN CO., LTD. and OGAWA SEIKI CO., LTD. 1. BACKGROUND India has experienced rapid economic growth over the past decade. However, the rapid economic growth has also brought about increasing and demanding issues such as unstable power supply and environmental pollution/climate change. Japan and India government established the Japan-India energy dialogue to start consideration of a comprehensive cooperation concerning the electricity supply, energy conservation, coal supply and other relevant matters. The Japan Iron and Steel Federation are also promoting the support of energy conservation technology to India Iron and Steel industry. Thus, the cooperation between Japan and India has been increasing immensely over the past years both in public and private sectors. On the other hands, the Heat Resistant Camera System (hereinafter referred to as Camera System) can bring the internal image of industrial furnace such as coke oven or coal boiler for thermal power under the combustion. The image can be used for analysis like improvement of energy efficiency of furnace. In line with this, Camera System proposed in this survey is expected to also contribute to the Japan-India cooperation in the field of energy saving. 2. OUTLINE OF THE PILOT SURVEY FOR DISSEMINATING SME’S TECHNOLOGIES (1) Purpose The purpose of the survey is to verify the visualizing of internal situation of furnace under combustion and improving the efficiency of combustion through reflecting the internal image by Camera System.
