Follow Up Action Programs of AIBRF Re: FIFTH REPORT AIBRF follow up action programs are going in full swing with the support of state committees in all parts of the country. We are happy to submit 5th Report on the memorandum submitted to Central Ministers and Members of the Parliament after 22.01.2021 till date. Memorandum was submitted to the following Central Ministers; (1) Honorable Central Minister , Shri Nitin Gadkari on 30.01.2021(Maharashtra State Committee) AIBRF delegation from Nagpur (Maharashtra State Committee consisting of Shri O.P. Verma, VP AIBRF, Shri S.S. Butolia, Shri M.L. Pande & Shri D.N. Desai submitted memorandum to honorable Central Minister, Road Transport & Highways Shri Nitin Gadkari in Nagpur on 30.01.2021. Honorable Minister was kind enough to write recommendation letter to FM for favorable consideration. Copy of the letter is enclosed. (2) Honorable Minister for Information & Broadcasting Shri Prakash Javdekar on 07.02.21 (Maharashtra State Committee) AIBRF delegation from Pune, ( Maharashtra State Committee) met honorable Central Minister, Shri Prakash Javdekar , Information & Broadcasting in Pune on 07.20.2021 (3) Honorable Central Minister of State for Social Justice Shri Krishnpal Gujjer on 5.02.2021 by( Delhi State Committee) .. The Following Central Minsters have written letters to the FM recommending retiree pending issues for favorable consideration after 22.01.2021 (1) Letter written by Honorable Defense Minister Shri Rajnath Singh (U.P. State Committee) (2) Letter written By Honorable Central Minister , Shri Nitin Gadkari (Maharashtra State Committees ) (3) Letter written by Central Minister Shri Ramdas Athwale (Maharashtra State Committee) It is matter of honor for AIBRF and bank retirees that the following Members of Parliament met the Finance Minister and personally submitted the memorandum her. Further they discussed issue of updation with her with the request to expedite the sanction. (1) Honorable M.P. from Amravati Mrs. Navnit Rana Met FM and submitted memorandum on bank retirees ( Maharashtra State Committee) Mr. Rajendra Yeotikar, ( Central Bank Retiree & President of Amravati Forum of AIBRF, Maharashtra ) & his team had handed over our Memorandum to the Hon’ble MP, Mrs. Navnit Rana. On 08.02.2021, Mrs. Rana handed over her Letter containing our issues to Mrs. Nirmala Sitaraman, Finance Minister personally ( please see the Photograph below ) . During the meeting , Mrs. Rana discussed our Updation issue and Mrs. .Sitaraman responded positively. Further, Mrs. Sitaraman told her that she is looking into the issue. Incidentally we may mention here that the said meeting has occasioned due to the follow up efforts of Mr. Rajendra Yeotikar & AIBRF, Amravati . We are grateful to honorable MP for taking all pains to place pending issues of retiree before honorable FM in very effective manner. We also than Shri Rajendra Yeotikar for his efforts in pursuing the issues in very effective manner. IBRF delegation from Pune, Maharashtra State Committee consisting of Shri U.P. kavadi, Shri Bhaskar Bhave , Shri Utkarsh Lonkar & Shri S. Khalade submitted memorandum to honorable Member of Parliament from Baramati , Smt. Supriya Sule on 25.01.2021. (2) Smt. Seema Dwevide MP (Rajya Sabha) handing over Memorandum to Smt. Nirmala Sitaraman FM. (3) Sri Pradeep Choudhry MP. Saharanpur (kairana) handing over our Memorandum to Sri Anurag Thakur. The remaining MPs are staying in Delhi. During this period they have not visited Kerala. Hence we are contacting them over phone and explaining our issues to them and requesting them to forward our representation to the Finance Minister with suitable recommendations Now we have contacted 3 MPs over phone and submitted our memorandum. 1) Sri. AK. Antony MP and Former Defense Minister. I contacted him over the phone on29th January 2021. He told me that on earlier occasions also he had taken up our issues with the authorities and that he shall take it up again. He advised me to send a copy of our representation .It was sent to him with a covering letter. 2)Sri. KJ. Alphonse Kannamthanam MP (BJP) and former State Minister for Culture and Tourism. I Contacted him over the phone and explained our issues. He was also sympathetic and assured to take up our issues at the appropriate level. (3)REPORT FROM UP STATE COMMITTEE AIBRF delegation from Saharanpur (UP) submitting memorandum to honorable Member of Parliament Shri Pradeep Choudhari on 30.0102021. 1. Our delegation led by our President Sri R.K.Agarwal met with SRI SANJAY SETH MP (RAJYA SABHA) at Lucknow and handed over the memorandum. 2. Our Delegation comprising of S/ Shri R.K. Agarwal, R.M. Tandon, Anoop Saran Singh, and others met with SRI DINESH SHARMA DY. CHIEF MINISTER OF UP at Lucknow and handed over the memorandum to him. 3. Our Agra Unit under the leadership o Sri Atul Chand Sarin met with Sri S.P.Singh Baghel MP Agra and handed over the memborandum to him 4. Under banner of AIBRF, historical follow up action programs have been carried by state committees, During last two months , memorandum has been submitted to (a) 13 Central Minister & Vice President of India (b) 92 Members of Parliament from Lok Sabha & Rajya Sabha (c ) Chairman IBA 8. It has created very strong awareness and clarity on pending issues of bank retirees. We are happy to note that Central Ministers of have shown interest in our pending issues and many have taken steps to pursue them. 9. We may inform that as per the decision taken follow up action programs will continue up to 31.03.2021. During which we plan to submit memorandum to 100 more members of Parliament. 10. We convey our profound thanks to all our state committees, office-bearers, central committee members, activists , grass root level workers and supporters for their active involvement and support and using their connection in making the program huge success. It started in 1997 where “World Forum of Fish Harvesters & Fish Workers” meet at New Delhi leading to formation of “World Fisheries Forum” with representatives from 18 countries and signed a declaration advocating for a global mandate of sustainable fishing practices and policies. The event aims to draw attention to overfishing, habitat destruction and other serious threats to the sustainability of our marine and freshwater resources. The celebrations serve to focus on changing the way the world manages global fisheries to ensure sustainable stocks and healthy ecosystems. The Government of India is in the forefront in transforming the economy and has envisioned to double farmers’ income.
