A LAW TO AMEND THE PROVISIONS FOR THE CREATION OF ADDITIONAL LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREAS IN EKITI STATE AND OTHER RELATED MATTERS.

Enacted by the Ekiti State House of Assembly as follows:

Amendment of the 1. The provisions for the Creation of Additional Local Gov- Creation of Additional ernment Areas in Ekiti State, 2014 (in this Law referred Local Government to as “the Principal Law”) is amended as set out in this Areas in Ekiti State, Law. No.8 of 2014.

Schedule. Amendment of 2. Part B of the Schedule to the Principal Law is hereby Schedule to amended by removing: the Principal Law. (a) Orere-owu from Ado North Local Government to Ado Central Local Government. (b) Osi from Ido-Osi Local Government to Isokan Local Government. (c) Ikoyi from Ikole Local Government to Ikole West Local Government. (d) Kajola and Dallimore from Ado West Local Government to Ado North Local Government; and (e) Iropora from Araromi Local government to Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government.

Schedule. Amendment of 3. Part B of the Schedule to the Principal Law is hereby Schedule to amended by substituting “Igogo Ekiti” with “A parcel of

the Principal Law. land between Igogo & Ikosu” as the Local Government Headquarters of Ero Local Government.

Schedule. Substitution of 4. Part B of the Schedule to the Principal Law is hereby Schedule to substituted with a new Part B to reflect the above the Principal Law. changes.

Citation. 5. This Law may be cited as the Creation of Additional Local Government Areas in Ekiti State (Amendment) Law, 2014.
